"Cassy and Aden will be okay," I hear Maka tell us. I let my shoulders down, letting me breath more calmly now that they're both okay. "But, hey have serious infections in the cuts they got with Jeff's knife. I've already cured them, so they'll just need to heal."

"We had to put stitches in both, but mostly Cassy," Kid said. "She took more damage with her trying to save Aden, the wounds were opening up more than they should have."

"All that matters is that Cassy and Aden are here, and safe," Soul said while sighing. Everyone didn't say anything, but we all agreed with Soul. Cassy and Aden had been threw almost getting killed and if me and Tsubaki hadn't been there, it would have been lights out for them.

"Do you guys want to see them?" Maka suddenly asked. My head bolted up, and hesitated a bit before entering their hotel room. I felt everyone else follow behind me, feeling a bit stupid and embarrassed that it was me who entered first. I dismissed the feeling of 'stupidity' and walked over to their bed. As I looked over at Cassy while everyone else gathered around, I saw that Aden was missing.

"Where's Aden?" I ask coldly.

"He's in the kitchen getting something to eat," Kid said. "He wouldn't let us cure his wounds, but we were finally able to convince him." I barely paid any attention to Kid when I walked over to the kitchen. As I walked towards the kitchen, I saw Aden bending over the counter, eating Soup. I stand annoyed at him; laying myself against the door frame.

"Pretty pathetic you couldn't protect your own partner," I state. He lifts his head as soon as he hears my voice. My eyebrows arch as they form a frown. "Even I would do something to protect Tsubaki. It didn't matter if I was injured - I wouldn't let anyone hurt my weapon and friend." Aden turned to look at me: his body staying put, he stood up just to look at me.

"You don't know what we went through," He growled.

"Hah. I see the problem." I saw Aden's expression change, and he was now looking at me in even more anger, but he was surprised as I began to approach him. "You don't actually like her, do you?" I snarl at him.

"What are you talking about?! I care about her!" He barked.

"If you did, you would have prevented her from getting hurt!" I barked back . Grabbing ahold of my shirt, he pulled me up a bit, making me tippy toe as I try to look at him.

"I already told you," He said under his breath, saying it loud enough for me to hear. " You don't know what we went through." He glared at me, feeling the chills come down my spine. The glare looked evil, but I couldn't be scared of him even if I wanted to be. He was only trying to make me back off, but I didn't, because he could have protected her. Cassy was weak and she was still able to push Aden away and get ready for the impact. He was as hurt as her, and he still didn't do anything.

I pushed his hand away and he let go, continuing to glare. "You could have saved her from getting even more injured than she is now!" He backed away a bit, and I continued to shout at him. "She was as injured as you, and she bothered to save you as best she could! Don't you feel like-!"

"Black Star?" Someone called my name, and I turned to look at the person behind me. My face soften a bit; knowing her, she would defend Aden, and tell me to be nicer to him. I try dismissing Aden from my mind as I walked to a injured Cassy.

"You're okay," I tell her, standing in front in of her with a big smile. She smiles sadly at me, looking away when she started talking.

"I'm still a little bruised, but I'll be fine," She says. She looks up, but she stares behind me. She looks sadden, and looks behind me to see Aden with a shallow face, and he looked away when I frowned at him. "Um, Black Star? Can I talk to Aden in private, please?" Cassy said. I looked at her and nodded. I left the kitchen without saying a single word, or even a glancing at Aden.
