They parted from each other, but no words were said. They stared at each other's eyes until Cassy looked away with shame. Black*star knew this would happen at least because he began using Tsubaki as his emotional towel. He still loved Cassy but not the same like he use to. He began feeling something else and he wanted to confirm it. He won't lie that he wanted to kiss her and he only really did it to feel her lips on his. Was it worth it? Black*star didn't think so anymore, and Cassy can say the same.

Black*star didn't feel so much pity for hurting Cassy, but he did feel bad for making her realize that he loved her. Loved.

He slowly moved his hand under her chin and lifted it. He let it fall to his lap, a clear guilty smile on his face where Cassy can only stare at and let her emotions take over. She let the tears fall as she repeatedly said sorry to him. She didn't want to hurt him but she did, and no matter how she looked at it, she's the bad person. She's the one who led him on and she had a feeling she was. She couldn't deny it too much that she practically knew just by looking at him.

Black*star didn't do anything but let her cry. He patted her head, feeling his own heart break from the amount of feelings he was having right now. He needed to let her go, for his sake and her sake. She's with someone already and he's just lingering around trying get someone he can't have. Her and Aden were perfect the first time he saw them interacting with each other, his own jealous rising on how he talked about her and how he would only like her if she was a certain way.

Why is it that I'm left to my own devices? Why can't I win for once?

"I'm sorry..." Black*star suddenly said. Cassy was surprised and moved back to look up at him, his eyes still still watery from crying.

"I'll take you home," He got up, taking her hand and opening the front door. "Aden must be worried about you." Cassy didn't say anything. She let Black*star take her across the street to her apartment and upon getting in front of the door to knock, he froze.

"Thank you..." She said to him. She loosened her grip but Black*star didn't let go. She tried pulling her hand away lightly but he wouldn't let go. Cassy was so confused to why he wasn't letting go. Maybe he was rethinking something about what he said or maybe he was thinking something else. She wasn't sure but whatever it is, it started to worry her.

"Black*star?" She said to him. She turned him around to look at his face. His expression was painful, his own eyes looked confused but hurt and Cassy couldn't even think of what to do.

"Hey, what's wrong? Please say something to me." It felt so unusual just standing there because Black*star wouldn't even budge. His dark eyes reflecting the light from the hallway, and his stare was lost which Cassy couldn't even understand. Then, her eyes went wide as soft lips touched hers, taking her by surprise as she pushed him away.

"Black*star, I-" She began but couldn't muster anything else. There was another source of light that hit them at the side, making them both shield their eyes from the even brighter light. There stood Aden who looked confused but his expression changed quickly as Cassy's own face looked freaked out.

"What are you doing here, Black*star," Aden questioned, making the aforementioned blue head frown.

"If you really want to know, she came to my house and I just happen to accompany her back," Black*star barked lightly. Aden didn't say anything just stared at him, not even showing any sort of emotion in his stare. He took Cassy's hand and took her inside, smiling a bit softly to her before turning to face the shorter male.

"You didn't have to, but thanks," Aden said, his own voice sounding a bit annoyed.

"Would it kill you to be more nicer?" Black*star question, only getting a groan from the red head.

"I don't know why she came to you but you better not have done anything to her." Black*star smirked.

"No nothing happened, don't worry. I'll see you two later." Black*star gave a one last goodbye before heading out to his own apartment. He didn't take a chance to look at the taller male's expression or even enjoyed a bit further if it wasn't for Cassy being there. He sighed just thinking of his expression at the moment; confused and utterly pissed off.

He walked in the apartment building and got to his apartment. He opened the door to find his partner, sleepy and worried, her eyes darting towards him as he opened the door to the apartment.

"Black*star," She said softly. Black*star smiled out of guilt for making her wake up because of him.

"Hey, sorry. I went outside for a bit."

"I know she was here Black*star."

"Who are you talking about?"

"I'm talking about Cassy. I saw and heard everything."

* * *

"What happen with you and Black*star, Cassy."

"What do you mean? Nothing happened." Aden looked at Cassy straight in the eyes. She could tell she was lying to him and it's so easy for him to see it. She should know that but he guesses that she actually forgot.

"Stop bull shitting me Cassy. I can tell you're lying to me just by looking you. Or what? You forgot about that because you were with another guy?"

"No! It's not that! Nothing happen that you should worry about!" She grabbed onto the hem of her shirt, feeling her face burn out of embarrassment and guilt. She knew Aden was going to figure out just that she was scared and utterly confused at the moment, and this argument will only further her already piled stress.

Aden bit his lip, he clicked his tongue as he moved in front of her, kneeling down to her level. She had her head down, her eyes shut trying to prevent the tears from coming out her eyes. Aden took one long look at her before lifting her chin up, her eyes slowly opening to see Aden's blank face.

"Look, I'm not going to pressure you anymore," He said, letting a sigh escape his lips. "But you can't be running off like that and not talking it out with me. Okay?" Cassy didn't nod or answer. It's not that she didn't want to, she just didn't feel the need to do so. He was able to pick up on just the signs in her eyes and he took it as a response. He took her into his arms as she buried her face into the crook of his neck.

"I'm sorry," Said Cassy, her own hands tightening as she let out a sigh of relief. Aden grinned, bitting his lips as he did.

"You should be. I was worried so you're not off the hook just yet. I'm still mad at you." Cassy was going to take it as a sign that everything was alright, but she knew he was mad. She knows Aden knows that she was and is still lying, and there's no getting out of this one. He's going to do something about it to get the point across...

Black*star needs to back off before I hurt him...
