Chapter 12

Morning has arrived and we are now back in Death City, walking up the stairs to the DWMA.

We had a while since we woke up from the hotel in New Jersey, and taking the airplane to Death City was surprisingly tiring. I slept during the flight with the rest of the group still awake. It was only about 10 A.M. or so and the guys looked beat.

As we walked into the school and into Lord Death's room, we were greeted to Stein and Spirit who smile to us. We greet them and await for Lord Death who wasn't here yet.

"Its okay guys, you did good," Spirit said. We all groan, Soul, Maka, and Kid almost falling asleep. Cassy and Aden have their earphones on, and Tsubaki stands next to me with sleepy eyes as she tries to keep her eyes open. I smile gently at her, nudging her gently.

"You okay?" I ask. Tsubaki startlingly looks at me, but smiles as she nods. I continue to smile at her until a figure comes into the room.

"Oh! Hello everyone~" Lord Death suddenly says, appearing into the room.

"Good morning Lord Death," We all say in sync with a groan escaping us all.

"Well, you all look so tired. Had a nice flight?" He asked.
