"Mom! I'm heading out!" A young red head shouted to his beautiful red headed mother. She walked out from her room and smiled to her son.
"Okay Honey. Remember to come right after school. Your father and I have a special thing for you waiting," She soothed sweetly, earning a nod and a big smile from her son. He happily waved to his mother and walked out quickly to catch the bus.

The red head walked into the school with his backpack and happy attitude, greeting his friends and other kids who happen to be smiling at him. He entered his classroom and walked over to his desk, but was then greeted by his best friend.
"Aden~" He screeched.
"Hey Liam!" He saluted, fist bumping as they smile to each other.
"Hey, Aden. I thought you'd be with your girlfriend?" Liam questioned to him, making Aden look around trying to find said girlfriend.
"I haven't seen her honestly," He confessed. He wanted to look for her, but he was stopped by his English teacher who had an irritated expression on his face.
"Where are we going Mr. Alvarez," He responded with a cold aura. Aden looked up at him but looked away with a pout.
"Nothing sir," He responded.
"Then if it's nothing then I suggest you go to your seat Mr. Alvarez." Aden did as he was told. He went to his seat next to Liam as he rolled his eyes to signal his disapproval. Liam laughed a bit at his friend and sat down beside him.

It was already after school, and the 12 year old Aden was waiting for his girlfriend but she wouldn't appear.
Where the hell could she be? He asked himself, walking back and forward in the tree behind the school. He began to get frustrated but he didn't wait long until she finally came. She wasn't smiling like her usual self. She seemed more broken or just uncaring, Aden didn't know until he started talking to her.
She approached Aden with a saddening face, and a bit of an aura that Aden was able to detect. He grabbed her hand and smile to her.
"Hey June, I've been waiting for you, and Liam said you weren't here today," Aden said, pulling her to the tree to sit down. When Aden tried pulling her down to sit next to him, she pulled away. She looked away as he tried getting her attention.
"June? What's wrong?" Aden asked her.
"Let's break up."

Aden walked out the bus with tears streaming down his cheeks. His friend Liam called to him when he got on the bus a few minutes ago. June had told him that they should break up, that she never wanted to hurt him but she had to.
Aden didn't want to take that, and he wasn't going to. He desperately wanted an answer but she only pushed him away, telling him it wasn't meant to be. It only hurt him more as he thought about it on his way home, feeling his tears run even more wild as he finally made it to his house.
He entered a dark house. It was quiet, unexpectedly quiet. Aden walked to the kitchen to get something to eat when he saw a note placed on the fridge. It read:
We will get your surprise after we come back. Daddy had a meeting at work and I'm going to pick him up. See you soon sweetie.
~MommyAden wiped his tears and opened the fridge to get out ham and cheese to make a sandwich. If they were out then might as well eat something while he waits. Slowly moving to the couch, he sat silently watching his show as he patiently waited. Then came the news...

He now lived in an aunts house, crying still from hearing about his parents. They were killed by someone unknown. The investigators reported it as a hit and run and can only say that much. His parents were dead, and the only family he had. He was suppose to have a brother or sister, her mother still had been only a month pregnant. He was lost in the worst day of his life, getting caught up in his thought and experiencing such horrific thing.
He was young of course, but he was just a kid. At such a young age, anything that impacts an adult or teenager will hurt the younger more. It will only traumatized the youngster. Surprisedly, it didn't stay long in his system.
A year passed and he smiled but didn't actually care about much. He hurt girls without even knowing them or knowing that he hurt them. He continued this until his aunt enrolled him in the DWMA. At first, Aden was a bit skeptical but after researching about the place, he knew he could do something in that school. He understood the emotions of a regular human better than anyone. He was skilled in disguising his emotions and self.
He wanted to enter and he did. He trained night and day to become a great fighter and wielder of weapons. He had everything under control until he met her.
She was different from any other girl he's met. She was goofy and super weird. She was happy all the time and helped so many. How could someone like her be so happy? What he didn't know is that she was also broken but she lost her brother in place of her parents. She didn't have any relationships unlike Aden who hurt girls and didn't care for them either.
After meeting this strange girl, he wanted to do the same but he saw how abnormal she was so he didn't bother. On the plane ride there, she was cold to him at times and he tried being nice but he would find himself flirting with her. It was already by nature to do that. He didn't want to hurt her and that was a first for him.
Both were partners in the DWMA, he wanted her for a partner but didn't give a reason why. He wanted to be around her even when he told the guys she was 'too weird'. Black*star was the first to comment on that and he was pissed even if he masked it. Dumb kid who thinks he's all that, he thought, wanting to fight Black*star as he looked at her with hungry eyes.
Cassy was the girl he ended up falling for when he knew it was dangerous and unlikely. That was until he rejected her. His fault entirely for pushing her away, and he didn't want that.
He was done with running away. He was done with hurting more girls. He was done faking his emotions for the girl he fell for so hard. Cassy was the girl for him but he continued to deny it.
His past was what kept him from taking this decision and it only made it harder when Black*star came into the equation. How hard could it be to actually get her trust and love back?
For Aden, very hard.

He wandered around Death City in search for Cassy and still couldn't find her. Eventually he saw her run into the apartment of Tsubaki and Black*star's. She came from a different direction so to Aden's realization, she must have been wandering around the city.
He followed her inside, willing to explain everything. He saw Cassy stand in front of the apartment door with tears in her eyes and pain rushing through her. She finally entered the house with the two friends, overhearing the conversation she had with Tsubaki which was a small one.
He started to hear footsteps and he sat against the door of the hallway, hearing a familiar Blue Haired boy speak to Cassy. He overheard everything and he couldn't contain himself from shedding a tear. When he said he didn't want to hurt her, he meant it.
He doesn't even know why he's shedding a tear. Maybe it is because it reminded him about June. June who broke his heart.
June isn't Cassy. Cassy cared for him when others didn't. Cassy laughed at him and with him when he was moody. Cassy protected him from Jeff the Killer and almost risked her life for him. What else does he want?
He broke Cassy's and his own heart with no effort at all. And for that, he couldn't forgive himself.
