It was the late hours of the night, entering the apartment at such a late hour kind of scared Cassy. It was pitch black and the only thing she could see was the window with the moon shining through it.

She tried turned the lights on when she felt a rush of air in the back of her neck. She quickly turned around and turned her hand into a scythe, ready to pounce the person in front of her. She swung her arm until something blocked it.

"Cassy it's me!" A voice shouted to her. She was startled and quickly found the light switch to see Aden with his hair wet and PJs on.

"Wha- What are you doing?! And why is your hair wet!?" She growled in annoyance, catching the still heartbroken Aden by surprise.

"I took a shower as I waited for you to come back," He said honestly. Cassy was touched and sighed as she looked up at Aden again. She saw Aden's eyes stained with red as if he's been recently crying. She knew him well enough so she wasn't going to ask.

"Well, I'm back," She said softly, walking past Aden with shaky hands until he stopped her. He grabbed her hand, intertwining it with hers, feeling his face heat up in total embarrassment.

"Hold up Cassy," He said to her. She looked over at him, didn't even manage to say a word to him. He looked at her with pleading eyes, bringing her close to him, he hugged her.

"Aden, what are you doing?" She asked, oblivious to the moment. He hugged her without even hesitating. He didn't have to know that his heart wanted this because he knew he wanted this for a long time.

Cassy was waiting for it too, but she wasn't expecting it and she felt like Aden was forcing himself to hug her. She tried pushing him away but Aden didn't let go.

"Aden... Stop, this isn't you," She said, continuing to push him but it only made Aden tighten his grip.

"I don't want to let go..." He whispered, causing Cassy to stop struggling. She gulped, feeling her tears run again, she forgot why she was mad at Aden for and only focused on Aden. Though she didn't hug back, she didn't have to because Aden picked her up, throwing her arms around his neck and making Cassy lace her legs around his waist.

"I'm sorry..." She heard him say. Her tears continued to fall even more, not noticing the fact that Aden took her to his room. He set her down and let Cassy look around.

The room was a total mess. Papers, clothing, broken glass were splattered everywhere along with other things. Blankets and sheets were thrown to the side, his luggage he brought the time they came to Death City was open with some clothing inside. She looked confused and a bit sadden because his stuff were destroyed, most were. He looked at the broken mirror on the floor. She could still see some droplets of blood on the floor as she approached the broken glass.

"I ended up breaking things in my room after I made you upset," Aden stated with a slight sigh. "I knew I messed up by telling you that, that I couldn't contain my anger and I ended up doing this." Cassy looked to the floor at the broken glass. She looked at her broken reflection through the glass as Aden spoke. She couldn't help but smile at the Baka who finally found his feelings. How happy she felt but she knew it wasn't going to be easy, at least to Aden letting her in.

She turned to look at Aden with a slight smile. She didn't know what to say but she had to say something. Anything.

"Did you hurt yourself," She questioned, only able to muster that question. Aden shook his head in response.

"I threw something at the mirror to make it shatter," He responded as he approach Cassy.

"At least you're okay." Cassy smiled to herself unknowingly. Aden stopped before her, feeling his cheeks once again heat up and couldn't help but bring Cassy in for another hug.

"This is getting weirder and weirder," Cassy joked. Aden chuckled, placing his chin on top of Cassy's head.

"Get use to it," He stated with a lovely tone that made even Cassy squeal inside. This time she hugged him back but she buried her face in his chest, feeling his chest vibrate as he chuckled.

"You already got use to this huh," He teased. She frowned and pushed him away, earning a confused face from the latter.

"Don't do that," She pouted walking out his room and into the hallway. He chuckled softly at her rejection and went after her. He followed close behind her and hugged her from behind.

"A-Aden!? What the heck are you doing?!" She stuttered. Aden smiled lightly, burring his face into the crook of her neck. He felt so happy and he didn't know that his mind would let it go. Those memories of the past were long gone and he focused on the present now. He didn't want to let go and he wasn't planning to either.

"You're so warm," He claimed. Cassy blushed many shades of red. Was Aden really this fluffy? She felt kind of sad that the other Aden was gone but it's okay. This Aden was huggable so there's a plus on that.

"Aden, I'm tired. S-stop it with the hugging," She said, trying to run from Aden's grip. He still manage to keep her in his arms until she finally broke his grip on her. She ran to her room and jumped into her bed and under the sheets before Aden caught her again. He tried taking her blanket but she was bundled into it.

"Come on Cassy," Aden whined. "I'm trying to be nice here."

"No!" She shouted lightly. She was blushing under the blanket, using her strength to stop Aden from seeing her red face. It was difficult because Aden was tall and a bit muscular and Cassy was or is smaller and not much muscle. Aden did eventually pull some blanket to go under. He stared at her as she continued to struggle but she stopped. She was looking into Aden's closed eyes. His hair was still wet so she felt some droplets of water go down her cheeks.

He moved back and saw Cassy's reaction. He chuckled to her wide eyes and pale face and red cheeks, though he thought something went down her cheek simulating a tear.

"Are you crying?" He teased.

"No! Your hair hit my forehead and It started dripping!" She encountered.

"Whatever you say," He said again, pulling her close as he laid his chin on her head.

"I hate you for suddenly liking me," Cassy suddenly said. Aden smiled really big at her childish remark, though to Aden, it wasn't much of a childish remark.

"I'm sorry for realizing my feelings for you until now," He apologized.

"You should be."
