•Black Star's Point of View

Its been so long since I've seen her. When the orientation began, I didn't see her until Stein pointed her out. Her median black hair was so different from what I last remember. I remember it being long and curly, but it spiraled so nicely. Now, she's older and even more beautiful. Its been years. Too many years.

I open the doors to my balcony, but it seems like Cassy closed them. From what I could make out, I saw Cassy fixing her door, and a guy helping her place it. She finally finishes, putting away her screwdriver. She stands up and bumps into the guy, making my hand curl into a fist. The guy seems to think its awkward because he moves his hand to the back of his head.

They talk for a bit before leaving the room. I close the doors and shut them with the curtains. I put my head against the doors, feeling a presents behind me. I turn slowly towards my partner who is smiling sweetly.

"You missed her, didn't you Black Star?" She asks. I calm a bit, smile really small, and move a hand to my neck.

"Hehe, yeah." I say, and she nods at my response.

"We should go to sleep. There's school tomorrow, and we can't be late again." She walks away, and I'm alone again. I let my hand fall from my neck. Turning my head towards the closed doors, I frown, my hands into fists. I walk away, angry at the world.

~Morning~

I stand up straight. The sun hits my eyes, but I try to keep them open as the bright light goes through my eye lids. I stand and walk over to my bed, knocking onto Tsubaki's room. "Hey Tsubaki. Its morning." I didn't realize that her door had a note attached to it. I took the paper, and began to read:

Dear, Black Star,

Sorry about this, but you wouldn't wake up. I left without you, but I left some food on the table. Enjoy! And sorry once again.

Sincerely, Tsubaki

"Its fine. A star like me always arrives late just to make an entrance." I say, but I'm a little too lazy right now. I walk over to the dinning room, and see a small lunch case. I open it up, its a bento. Thank you Tsubaki! I start eating and wow it was delicious.

~At School, Steins' class~

I goof again like always. I can't listen to Stein! I have better things to do. I seriously also think that his class is the most boring class ever! Well, next to Sids'.

I get bored and look around the classroom, when I see 4 new kids walk in. They walk in kind of nervous, and Stein turns around to look at them.

"Ah. The new students." He walks behind them, and smiles gently like he always does. "Attention kids. Here are four new students that will be attending this class for now till the end of the year." He lets the first two introduce themselves.

The first guy speaks. "I'm Jason, I'm a Meister, and this is my partner." He looks next to him, and the dude moves his hand up, then down.

"I'm Max. I'm the Weapon." He says. Max and Jason look over at the two other people. I looked shocked when I see who they are. I didn't realize who they were until I actually payed attention to them.

"Hey, I'm Aden." Aden says. Suddenly, all the girls sigh for him. Hmpf! I'm better looking than that guy. He beings to speak again. "I'm a Meister, and this is my partner." All the girls groan.

Looking at the girls' expression, she seemed really nervous now. "Hi. I'm Cassy, and I'm a Weapon." Looking around the room, all girls have death glares pointing onto her. I do the same, but instead I target Aden. He seems to notice me because he turns to look at me. He lifts an eyebrow, and I roll my eyes. He's still looking at me, and he scoots a little closer to Cassy. What the hell are you doing!?!

"Oh! Your that girl that was speaking durning the orientation." Stein says. The girls begin to laugh. Cassy looks around the room, rolling her eyes, not even caring for what just happened.

"Yes sir. I'm sorry for what happen yesterday. I didn't mean to disrupt you." She says.

"It doesn't matter. I'm just hoping I don't see you goofing off."

"Don't worry. I'm no sort of troublemaker. I just come here to learn." She's just here to learn? So...

"That's good. Because if you do goof off, you'll be getting detention for it." Stein signals all four of them where to sit. Cassy sits next to Kid. But coming up the stairs to her seat, I hear Max and Jason teasing her.

"Don't be getting into trouble, Cassy." Max says.

"Or you'll know what will happen to you." Jason says. I look over a bit, and he's smirking at her. I will punch the living life out of them!

But then something gets me by surprise. "You shouldn't be worrying about me." Cassy says. "You shouldn't be concerned about other peoples' business. Why don't you go and tell someone else who cares." Oohs fly all over the place and Stein points her out again.

"Cassy. What did I say?" He says.

"I'm sorry Professor Stein." He turns around again, and beings to speak again. She frowns at the two guys, before Aden pushes her away from them.

"Its not worth it." Aden whispers, pushing Cassy from behind. She just nods and sits next to Kid.

He sits next to me, and just stares at me. I frown, and we keep eye contact with each other for about 5 minutes when Stein, AGAIN, asks us what we're doing.

"What are you doing Black Star?" Stein asks.

"I'm showing this guy who's boss!" I shout.

"Good for you Black Star." He says.

After a while, Aden looks away from me. He stares at Kid talking to Cassy, and smiles.

"Why are you smiling?" I ask him. He doesn't turn around to look me, he keeps staring at her.

"I know you like Cassy." He whispers to me. "Its obvious from a distance." Now he's looking at me. "But don't think I'll let you hurt her. She's my Weapon, and its my duty to keep her from getting hurt. I don't care what you have to say." I put a hand on my desk.

"You think I would hurt her?" I whisper loudly. "I've known her for longer than you have, and I would never...hear me clearly, never hurt her."

"Listen Black Star. Even if you say that, I know you will. You can't promise something you can't keep. I've heard many guys say this, and its always the same. They break the girls' heart, and that's how the story ends."

I put my hand into a fist. "You can think what you want, but I would never hurt her. I achieve my goals, and my goal is to regain Cassy's friendship again."

"Your calling her a goal? Is that what she is to you?" Now, I feel the tense atmosphere going all around, making Kid look up. I can only see it from the corner of my eye, but I just ignore it.

"You know that's not what I meant."

"Then what did you mean? A prize? Or a trophy perhaps?"

"Your starting to get on my nervous." I feel my soul wavelength charging up, and Aden can tell. He leans back, and smirks.

"Your going to hurt me, aren't ya? Go for it. I'm right here."

"I don't care if you happen to be Cassy's partner." I give a death stare towards him which makes him a bit surprised. I have my soul wavelength charged up, and I'm ready to take it out on Aden."I won't hold back, I will crush you."
