A Small Fanfic for all you NaruSaku Fans!

Here's a small fanfic for everyone! I hope you enjoy NaruSaku, if not, I still hope you enjoy it. You don't have to read it if you don't want to, but I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year~

A long day at the Hokage's, looking and approving documents with a desprete need to sleep. The Hokage's eyes would dare to close as he boringly would stare at the papers in front of him. He seriously wanted to lay down on a comfortable bed next to his loving wife - who was probably working in the hospital right about now.

Its midnight and the village's hero, Naruto Uzumaki, walked through the streets to his home where he would meet his lovely wife. He was already smiling brightly as he walked down their street to his house. Upon opening the door, he was greeted to a dark living room. The living room was clean as well as everything else.

He walked inside and placed his Hokage hat on the couch as he searched the whole house for his wife, but couldn't find her.

He started to worry for he couldn't even find her shoes or medical coat.

She must be still at the hospital, he thought. He rushed to the door, not forgetting to lock up properly, and proceeded to the hospital.
As Naruto walked through the double doors, he was welcomed by Shizune who was carrying a stack of papers she was delivering.

"Hello, Naruto-sama, its odd for you to be around here this late at night," She said, earning a goofy, yet nervous smile from the blonde.

"I'm actually looking for Sakura-chan. Do you know if she left home yet?" He asked, Shizune nodding to his question.

"She's been busy today, so it was hard for her to lay out the work properly," She explained. "I'm bringing these to her as well, actually."
Naruto looked at the stack of papers that Shizune was holding, and felt sorry for Sakura who had to look through them. It reminded him of himself; looking and approving non-stop. Honestly, he was working in improving the ninja system, but it was harder than he thought.

As he looked back at Shizune, he flashed her a sadden smile. "I'll come with you. Maybe I can help her in some way," Naruto offered, or suggested. Shizune smiled and nodded, leading Naruto to Sakura.

Sakura organized and piled all the papers she had been working on, and pushed them aside. She was finally done with that, and now she can go home. She was hoping in making herself something at home - knowing she couldn't cook, she learned from Ino and Hinata - enjoy it and hop into bed with his beloved husband. Right now, her sigh of relief was filled with little thoughts of cuddling next to Naruto, but her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door which got her a bit mad. Who could be interrupting her wonderful daydream?

"Come in!" She said a bit annoyed. The person came in really slowly, smiling and holding a pile of papers.

"Hey, Sakura-chan," He said. Sakura was suddenly so happy seeing his beloved Hokage standing at the door with smile on his face. She walked to him with a smile, and hugged his man.

"Naruto! What are you doing here?" She questioned happily.

"I came to see if you were still here," Naruto responded. "And Shizune was planning into giving you these papers, but I told her I could bring them to you."

Sakura continued to smile at her Naruto as she happily took the papers from him. "Thank you Naruto," She gently said. She took the papers and sat at her desk, looking and organizing just like Naruto would be doing everyday. He was sad that she had to work as hard as him, and maybe even harder since their expecting a child.

Soon, Sakura will have double, no, triple responsibility. She would have to be a mother, a medic, and protector of her husband and son/daughter.

Naruto sadly smiled at his wife, and walked over to her side. She was frustrated and would drink a glass of water which she would constantly drank. Naruto tried helping her, but he couldn't understand what all these 'things' were on the paper. Its like being in the academy all over again.

Naruto instead would accompany her, smile and joke next to her to make her a bit lively so she wouldn't fall asleep, or get angry. Sakura kindly smiled at Naruto for helping her get through all the long hours of work. She couldn't thank him enough, and hugged Naruto when she was officially done with today's work.

"Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked nervously. Sakura just tighten her grip on him and smiled really gently.

"Thank you, Naruto, for helping me," She softly said. Naruto blushed, a smile spreading on his face. He hugged her back and took her home in his arms as she quietly began to fall asleep. By the time he got home, Sakura was fully asleep, and so he took her to bed and laid next to her, and fell asleep with her; waiting for another long days work tomorrow.
