"Are you sure about this Black*star?" Tsubaki asked the short blue haired boy next to her. He nodded in response and proceeded towards the DWMA.
How exactly was this going to turn out? He didn't care anymore, he just wanted to get this feeling inside him, out. He wasn't asking for a miracle or hope, he just wanted to see how happy Cassy actually was. It was already hard enough to see them both together and he was planning to slip through it rather than dealing with it.
They entered the school and went to their classroom, looking around the rather half-empty room. The atmosphere was light today. How easy and fresh it felt and Black*star didn't even find a single hint of pain at all. Not even when students began to enter and Cassy and Aden walked through holding hands.

Throughout the whole day, Black*star avoided Cassy and Aden, mostly Cassy. Each time he looked at her, Black*star would walk away or turn his head the opposite direction. Cassy of course noticed and she felt even worse to know she hurt her Best friend. How exactly was she suppose to deal with this or even fix it?
It wasn't even lunch time when Cassy ran to Black*star who was walking into the cafeteria alone.
"Black*star! Wait up!" She stopped behind her best friend and gazed tiredly at his back. "Can I talk with you for sec?" She asked.
"What do you want to talk about?" He responded very sternly, not even taking a glance at her at all.
"Well... About how you are ignoring me," She said simply.
"I'm not ignoring you," He denied.
"Please Black*star. Don't lie to me." Cassy was getting a bit annoyed. She didn't want to yell at Black*star because she doesn't and hasn't yelled at anyone before. She's not perfect and she knows that, but she does get irritated and frustrated like the rest.
Black*star sighed and walked on into the cafeteria, leaving the broken hearted Cassy alone in the halls. She wasn't going to take it, but she didn't know what to do now. She can go after him but what good does it do honestly? She'll just be making a fool of herself for trying to reason with her best friend. Should she even call him her best friend? He doesn't even want to talk to her.
No... I can't think that way... She still loves Black*star with her heart. Black*star was part of her, like a piece that can replace that tragic glass flower that was shattered into pieces. Aden was too. So was Tsubaki, Soul, Maka, Kid, Liz and Patty. Ruko was also part of that glass flower. Her family and her long gone brother.
As she thought about it more, she realized that she said someone's name who she hasn't seen for awhile now.
What happen to Ruko?

Ruko once again was thinking of Cassy and the two boys who were after her. He was at home, frustrated with his thoughts of the three, only able to read to get his utter disappointment out of his body. It didn't work much as he tried reading because the book only made it worse. He closed the book with a sigh and proceeded in eating something.
He approached the kitchen and went straight to the fridge to get ingredients out for pasta. It soon hit him that if he really didn't want Cassy with a guy, then what is he doing? He should be protecting her from up close, not a distant. Then again, Aden will be around. So will Black*star.
It will be harder to even do such a thing.

Right after classes, Cassy bolted out the school without warning Aden where she was going. At the moment, she wanted to speak to Black*star and set things straight with him. She didn't want the guilt piercing through her if it meant loosing her best friend.
