Returning back to your room after hours of endless random conversations to the rooftop, both of you weren't surprised anymore to notice the time.

It's late, and everyone's asleep yet you and Chaewon are just on your way back to do the same.

Assisting you on climbing the bed she made sure nothing would go wrong and after doing so, she grab the blanket and laid it on top of you.

" Go sleep "

You shook your head before grabbing her wrist pulling her close to you. " You said you'll cuddle me "

Right, How could Chaewon forget that. You just talk about earlier. You pleasing her to cuddle you just because you're thinking it might be the last.

Chaewon gave you a smile before carefully settling herself beside you making sure she won't hurt your leg or you.

Now that reminds her of the day you and her cuddled together because both of you were so scared of the ghost more of the knocks coming from Choi Yena.

" Feeling Better ? " She questioned.

You nodded your head as a response.

" Sleep. It's late already " Playing with your hair so it would make you sleepy she hummed. Both of you need rest for what tomorrow will happen.

Though Chaewon is kinda having a bad feeling about it.
And she's trying to ignore it as possible.

" I don't want " You shook your head as you move closer to her and burry your face under her chin.

Even you wanted to sleep you just can't, you're thinking negative thoughts on what will happen to you by tomorrow or while you're sleeping.

Confused with what you said. " Why ? " Chaewon asked.

" What if I don't see you anymore once I wake up ? " that thought always keep you up and awake every night. It won't just get erased into your mind as if it was meant to happen.

Chaewon sighed when she heard what you just said. Ofcourse it's bothering her too, like literally. " I'll be here. Now go sleep you need a rest. " sometimes she don't know how could she responds positively on your negative words.

So she let her heart speaks, she let herself say the words she's really feeling.

" Even if that rest means a rest for a long time ? like long long time " Even you really don't want to think about things like that. You just can't. Not when your life is at risk.

Chaewon didn't dare to response, she can't find a word to say. How is she supposed to answer that. If she herself are unsure about it too.

" Chaewon " You called her and as a response, she hummed.

" Your heart " Ever since you move closer to her, you can feel this familiar feeling that you're also experiencing.

It might be not obvious but believe it or not. You're experiencing the same on what Chaewon's feeling around you.

" What about it ? " She tried to not get nervous. Do you know her secret already ?

" It's- " Moving more closer to her, Chaewon stopped brushing your hair and stay still. " It's Beating faster. Are you sick ? "

Chaewon flashed a smile that you weren't able to see. How she wish the reason of her heart to beat faster is just because she's sick. But well she's not. She's not sick. This feeling isn't sickness.

" You're the reason why it beats like that " She finally said, and finally she knows the answer herself after long times of being confused about it.

Getting what does that supposed to mean. You smile. " It feels so calming " and it is. It feels so calming for you.

" Why does it beat for me ? " You questioned having no idea why would she answer it like that.

Chaewon once again smile, and rest her chin on top of your head before brushing your hair again. " I'll tell you tomorrow once you wake up. So now sleep "

" What if I won't wake up ? " Negative thoughts. Your mind is now full of negative thoughts. " Then Make sure. You will wake up so you could know the answer. " It's not that she don't want to tell the reason.

She just want you to rest first, besides she's still not ready about it but maybe tomorrow she will.

" Okay. Hummed me a song then "

And so, Chaewon started to hum a song for the whole night while continue to brush your hair making sure you'll be put into a sleep, but once she's still not in the middle of the song she's humming.

She started hearing some quiet and tiny snores coming from you and when she's sure you're already asleep.

She slowly pulled away not because she will leave you alone on the room, but because she wants to watch you sleep.

" Why do you sound like you're going to leave me soon ? " Chaewon talked as if you would answer her.

" Ofcourse you won't. You promised right ? "

" I'll hold into that promise. I'll wait for you to wake up and- " Stopping for a second Chaewon playfully poked your cheeks. " and tell you that you're the reason why my heart is beating like this, because right now this heart is beating for you "

She smiled.
