Scabior ran to me, pushing people out of his way to get there. He dropped down in his knees and put his finger beneath my nose, just like he had the first night, but this time heck we I wasn't faking. My breath was faint and strained. He looked over his shoulder.

"She said to knock her down, not to blow her up!" He yelled. The man didn't reply. Scabior stood back up and faced everyone. "Go!" He shouted. "Everyone leave! We're done here!"

"But-" the man started, but Scabior pulled out, of all things, a knife from his pocket and lunged at him.

"Go! I don't want to see you!" The man wasted no time following all the men as they scattered into the woods. Scabior knelled down beside me and put to fingers on my neck to check my pulse. He seemed to pale a bit, then slid his arms underneath my limp body, lifting me up.

He quickly started off towards Spinner's End, being careful not to make my body move. The blood coming from my forehead flowed into my hair and smeared down his clothes. My head bobbed lazily from side to side with every footstep. After a while, I started to moan.

Scabior quickened his speed when he was the village come up in front of him. When he reached my house, he used his foot to knock on the door.

The door cracked open, then swung all the way. Vincent stood in the door way. He must have come over after work and missed me when I left. His face paled when he saw my rumpled body.

"Se-Severus!" He could barley get the words out. His hand was gripping the doorknob so hard that it was white.

"What is-" Uncle Severus came through the house and stopped as well, taking a breath. A moment later he continued. "Get her inside." Scabior came in and Vincent closed the door behind him. "Lay her down." My Uncle instructed and Scabior gently laid me on my back on the ground. He stood back as Vincent got on his knees on one side of me, and my Uncle knelled on the other.

"Eleanor," he tried to wake me up, but it didn't work. He cursed and pushed some hair off of my forehead. "She has gravel stuck under her skin. We have to get it out and get her up. Her bleeding has to stop as well. Vincent go into the cabinet in my room. There is a clotting potion; get it and bring it to me, along with a rag." My Uncle turned to Scanior as Vincent got up, obeying his commands.

"What happened?"

"A guy got mad and blew the ground out from under her. She's been knocked out since."

"Do you know how she hit?"

"I'm not positive, but I think she landed on her side, then fell over and hit her head."

"That's what I was thinking... Thank you." Vincent had come back and handed the requested things to my Uncle. Uncle Severus took the cap off the vial, put the rag over the end, and turned it upside down. Then, he handed the rag to Vince "I'm going to get these rocks out. As soon as I do, put the rag over her forehead, okay?" Vincent nodded. Uncle Severus took out his wand. "Accio stones."

All of the rocks that were embedded into my skin came out in a rush of objects. Vincent put the cloth over the damaged skin. My eyes opened just enough to see him as the pain brought me back to reality.

"Uncle Severus... " I tried to touch his face with my left hand, bit I couldn't lift it. My whole left side hurt so badly that it was dragging me back into the dark was. My eyes started to shut again.

"Yes, it's me. You have to try to stay awake." He touched my arm, causing another wave of pain and my eyes to open a tiny bit again.

"But I'm tired..." I was in a haze, where everything was foggy and all I wanted to do was fall asleep. I let my eyes fall closed again. Uncle Severus cursed.
