Sarah Beth~

Without class during Holiday, it meant that I spent the whole week without being Crucioed once! It was thanks to Madam Pomfrey's efforts to keep me up in the Hospital Wing to help her and, more importantly, stay away from Miss Carrow.

I learned a lot of things while I was up there; How to relieve pain. How to take tempuratures. How to mend bones. How to fix potions. I don't understand how Vincent went through all this work to be a Healer, and I learned enough just from a few days. I did everything he did, except deal with puking people; I couldn't handle that. It was disguesting.

Unfortunitly, a virus was going around, so I was surrounded by people vomiting. I refused to ehlp with that, leaving Pomfrey to tend to them herself. I did, however, help with anything else.

When Holiday Ended, Vincent came straight back to work. We had different classes scheduales, so when one of us as in class, the other was there to help. But when neither of us were in class, we had to help as the same time.

When that happened, it as very akward. We refused to speak to each other unless we absoutly had to. We also refused to do the same thing at the same time. Basically, I didn't want anything to do with him. He was such a hypocrite; what as the point of healing people and then going out and asisting You-Know-Who in killing them? Anyway, he kept his distance and I kept mine.

Worst of all was when Elle came. It was not a secret that they were getting married as soo nas school ended, so she would often come in to tell him bits and pieces of what she had reserved or purchased for the wedding. While there, she would glare at me and use lots of slurs such as 'Muggle-Lover' and 'Blood Traiter'. Vincent always agreed with her. They also made loud comments aobut how I shoud be put on trail for resistance towards the 'Dark Lord', as they liked to call lHim. Lke thier engament, the fact that they were Death Eaters was known through out the school as well; especially since Ellie's uncle was one of You-Know-Who's most loyal followers.

Today when she came in, it was rather late. Probably around nine o'clock.

"Hello, Love." Vincent looked up froom the student he was caring for and gave her a quick kiss. "How did it go? Did you find a dress?"

"No." She sighed. Her usual confidence was gone. She sounded kind of defeated. "Nothing fits rights, and I don't like any of them they show me. Scabior said he would take mea gain next week. I also looked at flower arrangments."

"Did you go to the bakery?" Vince asked. She sighed again.

"No. I can't sample all the cake myself. I barley like cake, anyway..." Vincent thought for a moment.

"I can try to go with you one day, or you can take Gregory. He really likes cake."

"I guess that's what I'm going to have to do." She leaned against he wall as Vince finished up what he was doing. I could't help noticing how tired Elle looked. I began passing out potions to my side of the wing.. "I spoke to the caterer yesterday, and he said that they needed an exact number before they can give me a price. That means we have to send out the invatations now so we can know who's coming."

"Ok. Send them out." Vincent shrugged and stood up. Ellie's eyes widened.

"You have them, don't you?" They were both quiet for a moment.

"No I don't. You have them."

"Didn't you get them after the Ball?!"

"Yes! I put them in my bag!'

"Where are they?"

"I don't know!"

"You lost the invatations!" Elle exclaimed. She was close to tears and panic strainedi n her voice.
