A couple weeks went by and I, suprrisingly, with held to my uncle's requests, mostly because I knew if I slipped up again, he might actually for me to cancel the wedding. I checked in with him before meals and before I went to bed, adn stayed with him inbetween classes. IN return for my good behavior, he started to let me stay with him less and less. I even came to him whe nI felt overwhelmed, instead of tracking down Blaise and asking for a smoke (although some times it was really hard not to).

These visits due to stree usually ended up with me taking a nap. Since his bedroom was connected to his office, Uncle Severus would always send me there incase he needed his office to hold a meeting or any other Head Master duty. I was okay wit hit because the extra sleep truely did make me feel better. The only down side was that since it was his bed, he didn't want to risk me wetting it and, therefore, made me wear my night pants. It was understandible, though. and it wasn't too bad, since I usually woke up dry.

I was jjust waking fom one of these naps when I hheard a voice I reconized. I got up and reaked into the office, trying to see if my guess was correct; it was.

"I can't tell her. It will break her heart." Vincent said to my uncle ."I don't htink she can handle much more."

"Vincent, you can not keep this from her. It matters to both of you." My Uncle replied, then turned his head. "Eleanor, you can stop hiding and come out here." Vincent's eyes widened as he turned ot me. I walked behind his chair and put my arms around his shoulders from behind.

"Elle!"

"What is it you need to tell me?" I asked, putting my chin on top of his head. He used his eyes to glanace at me.

"Oh, nothing important."

"Really?" I tightened my hug around his neck. He coughed.

"The two of you have to stop keeping secrets from each other." Uncle Severus sneered.

"What secret?"

"Okay." Vincent sighed before pulling my hands off his neck and holding onto htem lovingly. "I got a letter from the Gardens this morning saying that our reservations have been droppped." For a moment everything was silent. Vincent bit the inside of his lip as Uncle Severus shot me a look that said 'watch your temper'.

"What?!" I exclaimed, trying to get my hand back. "They canceled our reservations?! Can they do that?! Is that legal?! Do they know who we are?!" Vincent let go of my hand and I covered mmy face. "Where are we goin to have the wedding?! It's in four monthes! It's all ruined!" A steady flow of tears started down my cheeks. Vincent pulled me onto his lap, so I put my face into his neck and cried. "Where are we going to have it?!"

"I dont' know. I'm just as freaked otu as you are. I don't know what we're going to do."

"We have to find annother place and- No!"

"What?"

"We have to send out new invataions telling the new location!"

"...You're right..." He finall ysaid, rubbing my  back in an attempt to stop the crying.

"And we'll have to tell the caterers and the florests, too."

"I know."

"Perhaps," Uncle Severus interupted. "You could have it at Vincent's house, since we can't have it as Spinner's End. You have a spacious back yard and the woods would make lovely scenery.

"Yeah... we coulnd..." Vincent and I agrred.

"Do you think your mum and dad would let us?" I asked my fiance.

"Of course they will." He kissed right above my lip. Then, he wiped under my eye.

"We have to get more invatations." I stated again.
