Blood shot eyes peered back at me in the mirror. Dark bags were underneath them. My skin, which was already paper white, looked paler than usual. Anxiety was sitting on my chest so bad that I couldn't breath. I had been craving the the Euphoria Elixir almost everyday day since I had started taking it in the morning since January. Now it was Febuary, and I had been out for a week.

All I could think about was getting my hands back on the Euphoria. I needed it. Without it, I couldn't function. I was having night sweats and chillng during the day. My hands shook. I was constantly attacked with migranes. Most importantly, I felt almost no happiness. If I didn't get any Elixir soon, I didn't know what I would do.

"Merlin." I mumbled, putting my hand to my forhead and closing my eyes. This morning was the worst yet. I didn't want to do anything, but I would have to go to class if I were to keep suspicion off of me. So, I reluctantly grabbed my school bag from my bed and slung it over my shoulder. Then, I checked my pocket watch: I had already missed breakfast, and my first class. Oh, well.

My next class wasn't until three o'clock, so I had some time to kill. Perfect. That's just what I needed. In that time, I could find Blaise. If anyone, he could tell me how to get more.

With that hope in mind, I sprinted out of my room and down many stairways until I was outside and in the Seventh Year Green House. No one paid me much notice as I found Blaise bent over some kind of herb. I went behind him.

"Ptshhh, Blaise." I got his attention by tapping on his shoulder. He looked over it and at me.

"Elle?" He asked, standing completly up and turning around. I glanced to make sure no one was watching or listening in on us.

"Yeah. Listen: Remember the Euphoria Elixir you gave me a month ago?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, I'm out. I need more."

"Oh, man... You took that whole vial in a month? That's some powerful stuff..."

"I don't care how powerful it is! I need more!"

"Elle, listen to you. It's just a potion."

"I don't care what it is! I need to know how to get more!"

"Elle-"

"Don't 'Elle' me. You're the one who started all of this, you are going to get me more!" I pushed him against a wall. "And if you don't, I will show you how big of a mistake it was!"

"Geeze, fine." He sighed, and tried to push me off of him. I didn't budge.

"No. You tell me first." I made sure to stand my ground. He sighed again.

"Fine. Listen, when I took that one from Slughorn, he had another vial of it. If it is still there, it will be in his potion cabnit. All you have to do is ask to look through them for a report or a project. Then, ask him about something across the room. When he goes to get it, stuff the vial in your bag. To be safe, fill up the old vial with water and yellow food coloring. He'll never know."

"And that's all I have to do?"

"Yes. Now, if you excuse me, I would like to continue with my gardening."

"Alright." I moved so he could get off the wall. "Thanks for doing business. Are we still smoking tonight?"

"Yes. And if I were you, I would try to get off the Elixir and just stick with the stems. You're getting a little crazy, and you don't look to good, either."

"Are you saying I am an addict?"

"All I'm saying is that you're acting very dependent."
