As they got closer, the dragon shifted, as if awakening from a long sleep. Actually, it was awakening from a long sleep. The dragon shook dirt off its' body, stood up, and roared at the group. They stood on an open stretch of ground dotted with trees in front of it. The temple wall, and its' gate, lay behind the dragon.

As they got closer, Nick(Tut Tut Child) could see that this was no ordinary dragon(how cliche). Some ingenious jerk had managed to make it a robot(we are the robots!) dragon. Somehow. Robot-Mechadragon stretched its' long unused joints before taking a defensive pose. Needless to say, Nick was not looking forward to fighting the thing.

Protostar felt energy growing in his hands as their group took a battle formation. Robo-dragon bent its' neck back, and unleashed a white beam of flames that the magicians in the group just managed to stop. Protostar was on the left side of the group, and retaliated by burning a hole in the armor plates on the dragon's right wing(Note: Protostar's energy ray things are pretty much just like Iron Man's repulsors). A grey swarm of something poured out of the hole, and repaired the damage in seconds.

"Oh come on, he gets regeneration too?" Muzzy complained. Protostar shrugged. "Whatever. We need to get this thing in the air, and away from the ground. It'll just keep absorbing more raw(Raw!) material from the ground to heal itself." He took the the air, and Muzzy was left by himself. Looking up, he could see Rezonate, Braken, Aero Chord, and a few others trying to draw the dragon higher.

It was then that Muzzy made one the worst/best decisions of his life. He ran straight for the dragon, and grabbed its' back right foot as it was taking off. Climbing up along its' belly, Muzzy stuffed explosives wherever he could find. The nano-repair bots were probably somewhere inside it, and Muzzy was counting on the fact that if he blew open its' belly, someone would be able to get a shot at wherever the nanobots where inside it.

Mike stood with his buddy Alex on the ground staring up at the battle above them. So far, the only person he could really see was Muzzy who seemed to have some kind of a death wish. His wish was granted when Robodragon veered sharply, exposing its' belly to them, shaking Muzzy off. Mike could see the explosives packed into the dragon's armor plates, and understood Muzzy's plan.

"Alex, we're gonna need to play grenade baseball." "Gotcha." Mike popped a grenade off his belt as the dragon's belly was engulfed in a fiery blast. Mike threw the grenade at Alex, who hit it with his hammer, and into the heart of the beast(vicetone + nico vega = awesome). There was a brief silence, and then a faint explosion could be heard above the noise of the battle. Robot-Mechadragon stopped in midair, and the light faded from its' eyes. It tumbled straight back down to earth, smashing into the side of one the mountians, and rolling downhill before coming to a halt.

Alex pumped his fist. "Finally, some good enemies to kill!"
