IT WAS AS IF THE UNIVERSE WAS specifically targeting Eve and upsetting her with how slow February was passing by. Yes, she enjoyed the time with Timothée in New York, but it was cold, and windy, and she still had to go to her job. When March would hit, she would only have to wait a few days, and then she would be able to jet off and join Timmy in California. She couldn't wait to be somewhere warm and beautiful, especially to celebrate her birthday with her own beautiful boy.

When Timothée finally told her that was the name of the movie, Eve couldn't help but beam at him, telling him they had casted perfectly. He was flustered the rest of the night.

It was now about a week and a half until March and Eve felt like February was dragging its heels on transitioning to March, not even allowing any pretty weather into New York City for a few days. That certainly didn't help Eve Granger's mood as she stomped to work everyday through cloudy or snowy or rainy weather, speeding through her work tasks as if she was a robot and barely glancing up from her computer, even when Andy came to pester her. At least, that was her goal until Andy barged in one day with his laptop in his hands, pushing it in front of Eve's face. "Gossip sites and news outlets are talking about you Eve, when were you going to tell me that you just like to frolick around the city with Timothee and Saoirse when you're not at work?"

Eve's eyes focused on the bright laptop, blinking a few times as she read the headline that finally used her real name instead of "mysterious redhead". Eve Granger: Timothée Chalamet's girlfriend or new underground actress? The article showed photos of when she hungout with him and Saoirse and went ice skating, as well as one photo from the night they all ate out with Nadine. For the past few months, Timothée has been photographed with this New York City local, but we have finally learned more about this elusive Eve Granger. Her and Chalamet went to LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts and Performing Arts together, graduating in the same year and sharing many of the same friends. Maybe they simply rekindled something that started in high school, or could it be more than that? Photos have come out of the two of them only after his big break in Hollywood, could Granger be trying to use her old connections to climb the ranks in the entertainment industry? Eve had to look up after reading that, a scowl etched in her face as she gazed up at Andy. "This is fucking ridiculous, Andy."

"I know," Andy nodded along, disgusted as he continued to read the article while Eve went back to work. "I don't know why they always make the women the bad guys."

"I just want to know where they got the idea I want to use him," Eve retorted, eyes not moving away from her computer, trying to plan her exhibit in a 3D modeling program. "Shouldn't they be praising Timothée for dating some local mundane New Yorker and not some Hollywood actress?"

Andy rolled his eyes once he finished the article, "At the end they did say you had a radiant beauty about you, so I guess that's a compliment?"

The redhead snorted, then put her head in her hands. "It's twenty eighteen, it shouldn't be so hard to realize I don't want to use him for connections or to be apart of the entertainment industry. I think looking up my name once on Google would show that I work at an art gallery and have done art shows and exhibits since I was eighteen, I'm pretty happy in this work, Daily Mail."

"Yeah, it is kind of odd they went that route," Her friend agreed. "But it is Daily Mail we're talking about."

"True," Eve groaned. "When are they ever completely right?"

Timothée came over a few days later that week, sitting on Eve's bedroom floor while she started to pull together clothes she wanted to bring with her to San Francisco and Los Angeles, almost bursting with excitement at the thought she'd be somewhere warm and with Timmy, somewhere that wasn't New York City for once.
