A PHONE WAS RINGING THROUGHOUT Eve's apartment, and the two adults groggily sat up from their uncomfortable positions on the couch to find the source of the noise. Eve's legs cracked with every movement as she stood up and looked down at where her and Timmy had ended up, balled up and cuddling on her couch after accidentally falling asleep during their mario kart matches. He rubbed his eyes and looked up at the redhead, blue light illuminating her figure making it look as if she was a ghostly apparition, then stood up and joined her.
"Who's phone is that?" He asked her, leaning on her for support. Sleep was overtaking him still even while he used the girl as support. "It doesn't sound like mine."
She laughed and pulled him along to her kitchen island where her phone sat, vibrating and shaking on the counter. Flipping it over, she choked when she saw that it was her mother. "Is that Mrs. Granger?" Timothée said in shock, his eyes squinting as he read the bright phone.
"Yeah, but it's three am and she should not be awake right now." Eve whispered. She turned off her phone, the sound stopping abruptly, then grinned at the lanky boy. "And neither should we. I'll text her and put my phone on silent."
He started back towards the couch but Eve stopped him, "Timmy, you can take my bed if you want. I can sleep out here."
"Eve, you don't have to do that." He insisted.
She shook her head, "It's all good. I'll set it up for you."
"No, I'll sleep out here." Timmy stated. He pointed towards the couch and began making a large pile of pillows on one of the ends, "I'll be fine out here, E."
Eve's sleep deprived heart almost exploded when he called her any nickname. She smiled at him, not wanting to argue anymore when all either one of them wanted to do was actually go to bed. "Do you want some comfier clothes then? I have some big pants and a big shirt that would fit you easily."
He nodded and sat down on the couch while she grabbed the large sweatpants and the thrifted car shirt for him to sleep in. When she returned, he was shirtless and sitting in the same spot, acting as if nothing had happened. "I don't need to see any titties tonight, Timmy. Put a shirt on." Eve laughed lightly.
Timothée burst out laughing and pulled the car shirt over his head. Eve watched him with a fondness as he wore her old clothing, it was weird seeing him do that, but also really cute. "I'm gonna go to bed now, okay? If you need anything I'm just down the hall."
"Sounds good. Goodnight, E."
"Goodnight, T."
The redhead laid in her bed silently after getting in proper pajamas and brushing her teeth, the door closed and her room pitch black around her. Her mind hadn't had any time to process the date or even the fact that Timothée Chalamet was sleeping in her clothing in her house after going on a date with her. It made her heart swell.
She closed her eyes and tried to drift off to sleep, but a knock on the door brought her back. "Come in." She whispered. The dim light from the hallway lit up Timmy standing in her doorway, looking a bit bashful as she sat up to take it all in. "What's up?"
"I can't sleep."
Eve laughed to herself, "You sound like a child."
He laughed along, "I know, I know." He ran a hand through his messy hair while he shifted from foot to foot. "This sounds so weird but can I sleep with you?"
"Yeah, of course. I can even make a pillow wall if you want, T." Eve replied. A grin was resting on her face as she watched him close her bedroom door, then shuffle over to the left side of the bed. Timmy pulled back the covers and slid in.
"We don't have to make a pillow wall if you don't want to. I like it like this." He whispered so softly she could barely hear him. His hand grabbed hers and intertwined their fingers. "I like this."
Eve's cheeks were burning and she was grateful the lights were off so he didn't have to see how embarrassed she was. She didn't even know what to say, she was so shocked he was so blunt, "I... I like this too."
Their hands felt natural in each others and she sighed to herself with a smile on her face; she would sleep well that night.

Eve bumped into another body in her bed and her eyes jolted open. She was not used to having someone else in her bed, and seeing Timothée Chalamet laying beside her, his head nuzzled into her main pillow and right by where her head just was was a real wake up call for her. The memories of last night flashed through her brain in a split second and Eve did not suspect this would be the outcome of their "friendly date."
"I'm so fucked," She whispered to herself, rubbing her face. Every time she looked at Timmy in her bed, butterflies erupted in her stomach and her cheeks became beet red. To take her mind off of their date, she pulled on a sweatshirt and crept out of her bedroom to make some breakfast.
Her roommate, Vanessa, was already making herself breakfast when Eve entered. Upon hearing Eve's shuffling, her head whipped up from the blender she was using to her best friend, her eyes wide, "So... How did last night go?"
"Well," Eve started. She let out a weak laugh, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly. "You see... He's still here."
Vanessa covered her mouth, "Oh my god."
"We didn't sleep together!" Eve hissed, waving her arms around. "Well we slept in the same bed together but we didn't... ya know..."
Her roommate nodded along with a mischievous grin, "I'm proud of you."
The redhead shook her head, "It's not like I planned that."
Vanessa started up the blender, both girls eyes widening when the horrendously loud sound cane from it. "I'd guess he's awake from that." The girl laughed casually.
"You better get to the gym soon, I don't want you to have a meltdown if he appears," Eve told Vanessa, shooing her roommate towards the exit.
"Alright, Alright." She poured her smoothie in a cup, jingled it in front of Eve's face with a sour face, then left the apartment.
When the door slammed shut, Eve let out a sigh of relief and began making breakfast for her and Timmy. In her head she hoped that it would be a good day.
