PERSONALLY, I THINK YOU'D BE A GREAT opening act," Eve said as they got dressed for day one of Coachella, the girl hiking up her skort and grinning widely at Timothée. "You've got so many popular songs, like the Hell's Kitchen rap or Statistics... man those are all bangers."
She saw Timothée roll his eyes in the reflection of the mirror and Eve snorted, "I gotta humble you sometimes, babe."
"It's not humbling, I know those are bangers." He replied, playing along. He was pulling on his pants and showed her his outfit, a basic white tee and black jeans with a green and black flannel. "It'll get cold tonight, so you might want to bring a light sweater or something."
Eve began to rifle through her pile of clothes, "You're the only thing that'll warm me though, babe." She said sarcastically, Timothée chuckling lightly. She found a light little purple cropped knit sweater and pulled that out, showing Timothée who nodded in approval.
"You look so good," Timmy gushed, his hands wrapping around her middle. "I love it so much."
Eve grinned up at him, "And I love you. Maybe a little bit more though if you asked to open for the Weeknd since I just learned you two are chummy..." She threw in some shade at her boyfriend because he had told her that morning while she was in the shower that they would be meeting up with The Weeknd (said very casually as well) later that night. "Do you know if Saoirse's ready?"
Saoirse was staying with them in the rental home his management was able to snag, a gorgeous two story that had 70's charm and was right in the heart of Coachella valley. Eve and Timmy had chosen one of the three bedrooms on the top floor, specifically the one with a patio and hot tub right outside the master bedroom, while Saoirse went for the bedroom that opened right up to the large pool in the backyard and gorgeous view. "I want a little bit of space from you two, don't want to hear you all night," Saoirse said sarcastically when they first chose bedrooms the day before.
Timmy shook his head and looked around the room while Eve fixed her hair one last time, it was in two long braids with black ribbons on the end, matching her all black ensemble other than her converse. "Got everything?" He asked, grabbing her fanny pack for her.
She nodded, chucking her glasses in the fanny pack before making sure she had everything she needed. Surprisingly, she didn't need much since it seemed like Timmy's management got everything taken care of. To Eve, it was like they were doing whatever they could to get more attention on Timothée- who would be starring in three upcoming movies and more on the way- and use the hot new relationship as bait. She didn't mind too much, both of them were taking advantage of the fact that they simply had to be at a public event and not have to cough up any money to go.
They found Saoirse in the living room wearing a flowy midi dress, her platinum bob held back by funky clips. She beamed up at the two, "Well don't you two just look adorable?"
"You look amazing too, Sersh." Eve replied, clapping as Saoirse showed off her dress and how it twirled around her. "I'm obsessed with your whole fit."
"We should head out soon, you wanted to see Sir Sly right?" Timmy asked and Eve nodded along, seeing that it was about one thirty. They were staying only ten minutes away from the venue and they had been warned ubers and lyfts would be nightmares, so they relied on the nearby hotel's shuttle service. "I guess I have to go extra incognito." Timmy groaned sarcastically, throwing on a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a mask to cover up his nose and mouth. When Eve looked at the actor skeptically, he told her if anyone asked that it was so he didn't get dust in his mouth.
"You know, if you go that overboard, someone will see right through their getup. All Saoirse's gonna wear is a big sun hat and sunglasses, and then if you look like that, they'll instantly think 'this guy's got something to hide if he's hiding all of his face'."
