IT WAS THE LAST FULL DAY IN LOS Angeles, and Eve was so excited for the busy day ahead of them. The past week and a half she had busied herself with online meetings, planning her own exhibit as well as helping coworkers, visiting more small businesses and galleries in Los Angeles, as well as constantly talking to Vanessa and her mother. Timmy had been extremely busy, leaving the two only a few hours every day to be together- if that- so they tried their best to enjoy their alone time before he inevitably had to go back to filming. Now, they had an off-day and it happened to fall right on the day Tyler wanted the two of them to meet up with him at a car show in Burbank.
Timothee had been surprised at how excited Eve was to attend the car show, they both were car enthusiasts, but she blew him out of the water with her extensive knowledge. She blamed her cousins and extended family for always playing Top Gear when she was over and for teaching her about every car they went through- which was often, they enjoyed a new car every few years. When Tyler had sent the link to the car show's website to the two of them, Timmy couldn't help but laugh and also awe at the fact her girlfriend could name the first three cars shown on the website casually, "Oh, that's a 1980 Dodge Challenger, I believe that's a 2003 BMW e46, and that one is a Ferrari F40. Isn't that gorgeous?" She had said to him and Timmy simply gaped back at his girlfriend, not knowing if he wanted to kiss that beautiful woman or laugh at how easy it came to her.
The couple got an uber to the car show, Eve fiddling with Timmy's fingers while they held hands in the back seat, not knowing what kinds of people might show up to the car show. Eve hoped there would be a mix of people, as well as cars.
The car show would be held in a large parking lot with a few strip malls surrounding them, when they pulled up Eve let out a sigh of relief, seeing a mix of new race cars, lowriders, vintage cars, and luxury cars all combined. She squeezed Timmy's hand excitedly as they slid out of the car and headed over to the show, keeping an eye out for any of Tyler's recognizable cars. "I think I see him," Eve whispered to Timothée, pulling him into the throng of car enthusiasts, making their way through the crowd to get to their friend who was leaning against his e30.
"Hey!" Tyler yelled when he caught a glance of Eve's recognizable fiery red hair and grinned at both her and Timmy, "Scouted out any sick cars?"
"I saw a vintage Bugatti by the entrance," Eve told him, Tyler nodding along with a wide grin plastered on his face. "Also a red e30, but it was one of the four door ones."
"Hmm," He hummed as he thought, leaning against his cars with his arms crossed. "How you been, Tim? How's filming?"
She could feel Timmy squeeze her hand as he replied, but she didn't know if it was because he was nervous or anxious (he was in front of Tyler the creator for god's sake, it was pretty understandable behavior). His hands got clammy when he was nervous. "Good, good. It's been tiring though. We should be done in mid-April."
"Damn, that's coming up quick. How's LA treating you, Eve?"
"Pretty good," She grinned at him. "I've explored a lot in my free time, it's gorgeous out here."
"If you find the right places," Tyler added with a knowing look in his eye. "Have you found any artists that you think would be good for your gallery?"
"Yeah, potentially." While she talked, Timmy released her hand and wrapped his arm around ber shoulder, pulling her close. She smiled as he did it and continued, "We want to do more exhibits focusing on smaller artists or a theme that can bring in both old and new art, to give them an equal platform."
"That's sick. I'm working on some projects right now and wanna give some small artists the chance to create something with my platform. Do you take pics of all the art you liked?" Tyler asked.
