EVE HURRIED DOWN THE STREET, HER hands shaky with anxiety. She hadn't seen Timothée since high school and was terrified to see him again, he was of upper echelon- Eve was not. Yes, they had instant chemistry and she loved talking to him basically everyday over instagram and text messages, but that didn't mean things wouldn't be different in real life. The girl saw the sign for Rosa's pizza and grinned to herself, she had made it.

Timothée told her that he'd be wearing a "disguise" and when she saw his mess of curly hair hidden under an inconspicuous cap she rolled her eyes. He was leaning against the outer wall waiting for her, sunglasses perched on his nose and a soft smile on his face when he looked up and saw Eve.

"Eve Granger!" He exclaimed, pushing himself off the wall. Timmy walked up to her with his arms out and pulled Eve into a tight hug, his head resting on hers.

She was shocked at first that he was so welcoming, believing that now he was on his way to stardom he would not be as kind to old friends. It surprised her that he also recognized her, she thought she had changed since the last they had seen each other, at least in her own eyes she saw herself that way. Eve gladly reciprocated the hug though.

He let go and looked down at her, "I've missed you!"

"I've missed you too, Timmy!" She grinned back at him. His hair was curling around his hat and his eyes sparkled when they met hers. It was strange how comfortable she felt with him already, nothing had changed. "I set the reservation up for six, how long have you been waiting?"

"Maybe ten minutes? It's no big deal." Timmy replied. "I was at a few meetings down the block but I've heard good things about this place."

"Yeah, me too. My mom recommended it." Eve snorted.

Timmy smiled, "I've missed your mom. How's she doing?"

Eve had briefly remembered Timmy having to come over for a few English projects, her mom gladly making food for the two of them as they droned on about Romeo and Juliet. Mrs. Granger had taken a liking to Timothée, telling Eve that he would be the perfect guy for her. When her mom had said that, Eve looked disgusted and didn't say a word, but her heart hammered.

"She's doing really well." The redhead said. She linked her arm with his and walked up to the doors, pulling him in while looking back at him, "I don't think I could ever fully forget about you, she still asks about you from time to time."

Timmy's face softened, he really did love Eve's mom. The few times he had been to their apartment she had been so kind and supportive, she was like another maternal figure to him in his mind. "I hope you told her about us going out tonight!"

Going out! Eve thought, her breath hitching. "Oh, of course I did." She then left him by the door and talked to the hostess so they could get their table. The restaurant was not too busy thankfully, Timothée felt more inclined to take off his hat around the few bystanders. None of them really looked like indie film fanatics anyway.

He hovered by the door, watching Eve in fascination. She had changed, her body and her face had both grown and she seemed much more confident than sophomore year of high school. Her red hair was more vibrant and her eyes glimmered when she spoke, he was slightly intimidated by how much she had matured. Timmy had always had a soft spot for Eve, he had always considered them at least friends by the times they had spent time together and he would think that going over to someone's house more than three times was progress. They were a powerful duo in their own sense, he had forgotten how much he missed the comfort.

Eve turned back from the hostess and gestured for Timmy to join her. He gladly came forward and stood beside her, the soft smell of strawberries and tangerine engulfing him. It had been there when they had hugged too but Timmy didn't want to let go. It felt right, and the beautiful aroma of fruit was what he guessed her perfume. "-mmy. Earth to Timmy T?" He heard Eve say aloud and blinked his eyes, not realizing he had spaced out while looking at the back of her head.
