FOR THE FIRST WEEK THAT EVE WAS IN California, Timmy would go off to set bright and early and Eve would go explore Los Angeles. She loved walking through the neighborhood where their hotel was, finding a quaint little coffee shop to get her work done while she searched for upcoming art shows and exhibit locations. She was able to enjoy herself, only recognized once when she left the little neighborhood and ventured towards the main drags, but otherwise she was left alone and content.

Most nights Timmy came back around ten, collapsing onto the bed and pulling Eve into a tight hug as he laid on top of her. "How's it going so far?" She asked, holding him and playing with his curls.

He groaned, "Tiring but good. We're not to the bad parts yet, just the angsty parts."

"Oh, love your angsty roles." She chuckled, but the boy didn't respond, only tightened his hold on her and rested his head on her chest. "Timmy don't fall asleep in your jeans, put on some pajamas first."

"Ugh," Timothée rolled over and sat up, looking back down at Eve, who had been reading her book and had her glasses on when he had come back, her glasses were skewed and her book discarded to the side, hair splayed out beneath her and her pajamas rumpled. God, He thought to himself. She's unreal. She grinned up at him as he rubbed his tired eyes.

He opened the closet and pulled out a random shirt and shorts, quickly throwing off his clothes and pulling on the pajamas. "Isn't that one of my shirts?" Eve laughed as he threw on his pajama shirt and the boy looked down, seeing that it said Columbia Lacrosse Team. "Aw, you look so cute."

"You didn't tell me you were on the lacrosse team," Timmy told her as he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

"I sometimes forget I was once athletic," Eve giggled. "But yeah I played for all four years. I was good."

He peeked his head around the corner, "Can we play sometime?"

"Maybe," She propped herself up and went back to her book while Timmy brushed his teeth, but she couldn't focus on any of the words, only thinking of Timmy and his floppy brown hair and the tight hug he gave her. She shivered at the thought, patiently waiting for him to return to the bedroom so they could watch a show or go to bed.
