Beware the Dragon

What seems to be

May not be so.

Rampant times

Come and go.

Beware of distant rumblings.

But do not be quick to war.

Neither believe what is said.

We have heard the lies before.

Said to stall for time

To execute a hidden plan.

Then with lighting's speed

Straight to the heart of man.

When you see the waves

Passing on the placid sea.

It matters not how many

Only how large they'll be.

What is small

Can much larger grow.

But just watching and waiting

Will prove too late to know.

But know for sure that evil lurks

In the heart of man.

And the Devil has many servants

To carry out his plan.

For sure beware of the saintly cause

For which many a man will die.

Herein lies great danger

Which you cannot deny.

But you can see the danger here.

It's not wrapped in friendship's cloak.

Greater danger lies concealed.

With uneasy dependent trust and hope.

From the eastern shores

Prepare soon for a mighty wave.

It will destroy the lives of many.

More than those that we will save.

Once the land of humble farmer

Bursting forth rich with power.

The hungry dragon

Will soon seek placid prey to devour.

We must break our dependence now.

From the one who serves.

For too soon they will be the master.

And we will get what we deserve.
