When you feel
The stickiness of the web.
"Do not tarry long."
That's what my mamma said.
For when the spider
Stalks her prey.
That ain't the time
to delay.
Gather courage
From where you can.
And execute
Your best plan.
Standing tall
And facing fate.
May require more
Than armor plate.
Fleeing thence
On gilded wing.
Or running fast
May comfort bring.
The choice is not
Mine to make.
Only to warn -
The spider's on the take.
