It has been 4 years since that day, we all graduated with flying grades hahaha which is still shocking because we barely did anything in college, we were either at the mansion practicing music or in malhotra industries which is now called manbir industries, manik and cabir their names blended together
"Nandini will you please hurry up girlfriend its my fucking reception and im waiting for my bestie to get ready seriously" I heard navya's voice bringing me back from my thoughts
"Give me a second" I said and taking a final look at myself I walked out to see a nervous navya
"Dude you got married a few hours ago why are you so stressed, just a reception" I said and she gave me a fake smile right away making me wonder if she is hiding anything

"Umm me no nothing will you just come lets go cabir has been calling from the past 20 minutes" she said yanking my arm

"He is with cabir and they are downstairs so can you come lets go" she said
They got married this morning in a church, and now its currently 7 pm, we are heading down to the reception that is in the mansion itself. I walk down with navya and the decor seemed off like really off
"This isn't what we decided on, I thought it was red flowers, why is it all Patel colours" I asked and navya smiled, "it was a last minute decision" she said and I was more confused

We walked downstairs and I saw a whole lot of people which was to be expected becasue the wedding had just manik and I present along with some of our classmates like aryaman who was annoying as hell but ya and soha and rose were also there throwing themselves on my boyfriend

"Thanks" I mumbled, my eyes were searching for manik but he was no where to be seen, thats when I spotted cabir
"Cabir come here" I said and he walked over, "hi gorgeous and hi beautiful" he said kissing navya's cheek
"Ohh heck no, do not show pda infant of me, umm where is manik" I asked and cabirs face drained
"Oh fucking hell, dont tell me he sent here yet" I said becasue he had a very important meeting till 6

"No, navya lets go, we have to meet umm our client just come" he said leaving with navya and I would have stopped them but I did see them going to a client
"Hi gorgeous, where is your boyfriend, and why did he leave such a beautiful girl alone" I heard aryman's voice
"Aryman thank you for the compliment but no comments on my boyfriend" I said being super annoyed

I turned around and I kid you not this man is fucking sexy, he looks like a greek god, his suit looks Soo good I mean it's black but DAMNN it matches my dress perfectly wait a second did he chose my dress becasue I had this really pretty red dress but navya said to wear this champaign dress

Aryman let go of my hand, he winked at me smirking and left, I walk to manik and slapped his arm
"You asshole, its 7:30 and you are coming now, do you even know how much I missed you, I haven't properly talked to you in the past week, now I have aryaman flirting with me, navya changed my dress and cabir is being secretive so will you tell me what the hell is up with the three of you, I mean its supposed to be a reception party yet the decor has changed, what is even going on here and why am I not aware of these changes huh, bolo na why aren't you saying anything"

"One question at a time Jaan, everything is okay, cabir isnt being secretive, this is a reception party and aryman hmm we will think about it okay" he said and I took a deep breath
"Your dress was not changed" he said and I squinted my eyes at her
"Manik you are lying I can tell, your suit matches perfectly with my dreamlike you may have chosen it or something" I said and he gave me slight smile. He leaned down

"Hello ladies and gentleman and manik and nandini becasue these two are not either hahaha" he said making eveyrone laugh
"Well jokes apart, these 6 years of our life has been the best fucking years of my life, sorry for that word but it's true. Nandini has stuck with us since we were kids but manik, he walked in our life and I knew I had gained a brother. He was this shy boy but look at him now, he has grown to be such a handsome young man. Yea its supposed to be our reception but manik, nandini would you join us up here" he said and all eyes were on us now
"Manik what is happening" I whispered to him and he just smiled as we walked to the stage
"Manik nandini well our manan, we love you the most, first id like to announce that manbir industries has topped the charts again, so cheers to that" wait whattt how have I not noticed the charts yet
"And now manik the floor is all yours, make me proud manu" cabir said handing manik the mike and I was so confused
Navya and cabir walked down the stage and stood infant of us, i looked at manik who had a nervous smile on his face. He held my left hand in his and smiled at me
"Good evening everyone, thank you for becoming a part of our happiness today, firstly congratulations to my brother and I guess sister-in-law now haha, they are finally married. The second thing I would like to say is to nandini" he said and my breath hitched what is he talking about
"5 years ago, well 5 years 1 month 3 days ago exactly is when I bumped into nandini infront of a classroom and my whole life turned upside down. Nandini you were my first friend, you took me in your house without asking anything, you didnt have to but you did. we went from being friends to best friends within a few days. You know I always say I love your smile but I think my favourite has to be when you get really annoyed and scrunch your nose pouting at me" he said with a chuckle and I pouted
