"Hey baby" I said and he just nodded
"Put on your jacket manik, you are already sick" I said putting the jacket on him
"Let it be nandini, he is fine, he can take care of himself" sanjana said touching his arm
"Im fine nandini" he said taking off the jacket
Now I was starting to get annoyed at her all over again and more at manik becasue he was letting her be like that and actually listening to her. I wasn't sure if he was annoyed at arymans words or at me for defending us
"Manik lets go back, im hungry" I said keeping my thoughts aside and not wanting to argue or fight infront of sanjana or when he isn't feeling well
"Im not hungry, umm cabir is going back I think so go with him" he said getting back to having a conversation with sanjana
"Manik chalo na please we are getting Italian and Chinese for dinner and you need to eat its been 4 hours since you had anything, you also have to take a pill" I said and sanjana laughed
"Nandini he isnt a 2 year old, let him be"
"Sanjana im talking to my husband so its better if you do not inturpt me again or comment thanks" I said and looked at manik
"She is right nandini im not a child, I know I am sick ill take care of myself, you dont need to worry. Take a walk with aryman or something have some fun" it hurt hearing him say that but I genuinely was getting angry now
"I dont care if she is right, get your ass up and lets go back" I said being pissed, im sure he could hear that in my voice
"No thank you, im good here" he said again
"Fine then put your jacket on"
"I said I can take care of myself, im not a kid nandini" he was starting to annoy me even more
"Manik why are you behaving like this"
"Like what nandini"
"You are getting annoyed at someone else and taking it out on me" I finally said
"That's not true, I just realized aryman is right im not a child, I can take care of myself, you dont need to puppet me around, if I feel cold ill wear the damn jacket" he said
"Sounds lovely, enjoy yourself" I said grabbing my bag that was beside him and walking the opposite way of the house
"The house isnt that way" I heard him yell
"Didnt ask you' I yelled back and kept walking
He didnt follow me, he just sat there, I knew he has my location so I didnt care that he didnt follow me, I also know he is acting like this becasue arymans's words hurt him but its not fair to me
"Hey navya acha sun, im gonna grab some food for all of us, do you have a special order" I asked
"Nah dude anything is good, ahh cabir" I heard her yell
"Eww cut the all you gross ass humans picking up calls in the middle of sex" I said and I heard cabir laughing
"For the first time we actually aren't having sex, but tell me why I see manik sitting with sanjana laughing" he asked
"Cause he has gone on a fucking ramp page to prove he isnt a child who needs me to take care of him ahh whatever do me a favour and get him back in the house, he is gonna get sicker"
"Ya ya I got it, should I come with you" he asked
"No its fine, I am gonna be fine, ill be back in a bit with food and yes ill get you something sweet" I said
"Ahh thank you" he said and I cut the call saying bye
I turned my location off just to piss off manik even more becasue he was pissing me off so two can play this game, if he thinks he is not a kid then neither am I. I walked to the nearest Italian resturant which was a 20 minute walk, I got a whole bunch of food, then I ordered some Chinese food from the restaurant beside the Italian one.
I got some desert too and now I had these huge freaking bags in my hands which were super duper heavy which is good beacause I am gonna have muscle tom, I laughed at my thoughts, I finally got to the penthouse, plugged the code in and the door opened.
"Aww Nandini you are a fucking saviour" I heard harshad coming up to me and grabbing the bags
"Your welcome bhai"
"Jeez these are heavy how far did you walk"
"About 30 minutes or so" I said like no big deal
"Girl you should have called me" he said
"No bhai ill have muscles tom ill show you in the morning" I said and he laughed
"Ill be back im gonna wash my face" I said and he nodded
I went to our room only to find sanjana and manik talking in the room, when I walked in he didnt seem to care which was fine like whatever
"Umm sanjana will you please excuse us for a moment" I asked and she nodded
"Of course, see ya later darling" she said
"See ya" manik said and I took a deep breath
When she left I looked at manik, who still hadn't worn his jacket, I walked up to him and put my hand on his forehead only to find him wamer than before
"Kab tak bahar thai" i asked softly
"Abhi panch min pehele hi Aya adar" he said and I nodded
"I got some Italian and Chinese food, go have some, you must be hungry" I said and he shook his head
"A little" he said and I nodded, "go have some" I said and he got up and went outside uttering nothing
I washed my face, put on some shorts and a random oversized t shirt that covered my shorts so it looked like I wasn't wearing pants making me laugh.
I waked outside and saw everyone devouring the food making me smile, "Choti here is a plate for you" I heard harshad
"Thanks bhai" I said grabbing the plate
I ate in silence while everyone else were talking about something which I didnt even notice the topic. Once I finished eating I grabbed everyone's dishes along with navya who cleaned up a little
"Whats going on with manik" she asked
"Not sure, I think he is thinking about aryman's words but ehh its fine we will eventually get over it, nothing to worry about" I said and she nodded
