Manik's pov
"Cabir no" I said and he just laughed, "just wait and watch na yar" he said. A few seconds later a guy started screaming in the bathroom and cabir and I ran out of the boys bathroom laughing
"Hahhaha oh my goshhh, that was greattt" I laughed
"Cabir dhawan what did you do" I heard navya behind us, "ahhh no navya let go it hurts" cabir screamed and I turned around to see navya holding his ear
"Owww navya dare ho raha hai yar chod dai na please"cabir said to navya who now looked at me like ohh heck no I am not getting in trouble today so I tried running but she was quick
"Ahhh navya" I screamed too as she grabbed my ear
"Kya kara tum dono ani" she asked and I looked at cabir who looked at me and we ended up bursting out laughing
"Acha bohot hasi a rahi hai na haso dono haso" she said twisting our ears, "navya dard ho raha hai" I said and she didnt care
She dragged us both to the canteen and I saw Nandini sitting with her head down on the table, I wondered if she was okay.
"Nandini" she said and cabir and I made eye contact again resulting in a laughing session again. Nandini looked up at us
"Leave his ear navya" she said and I smiled seeing her but navya twisted both our ears making us complain
"Chod do na please" I said, "navya now" nandini raised her voice and she let go of both our ears. I literally ran to nandini rubbing my ear
"Navya what the heck man, his ear is all red" she said caressing my ear making me smile at her, "dude ask them what they did" she said and I looked at cabir who looked like he was about to shit his pants so I laughed which made him laugh too
"See this is why I get irritated, they keep laughing looking at each other" navya said pissed off, "drink this and calm your tits girl" nandini said to navya who took a deep breath
"What did you two do" nandini asked, "um nothing" cabir said and making me giggle a little
"Cabir" she said again, "okay fine I just taped some red dye under the toilet seat, its not my fault that he thought It was blood" he said and I started laughing remembering his screams
"Manik" nandini said looking at me so I hmmed still rubbing my ear. "Dont do that again I dont want the principle being ater you okay" she said and I nodded, then she looked at cabir, "you idiot if you do this bullshit again I will get you expelled myself" she said and cabir laughed
"Haha I know I know, tu yahi keheti hai chal hattt acha sun Manik and I are best friend now" he said and I smiled,
"Is that so" Nandini asked and I nodded which for some reason made her smile. "Aww thats cute" she said smiling
"I need a milkshake" navya said and cabir kissed her cheek, "lets go get you one, umm manik tu cons flavour piyega" he asked and I thought about it for a second, "brownie please" I said and he nodded but didn't ask Nandini
"Nandini sai toh puch lai" I said and he smiled, "she likes brownie too" he said and walked with navy
I put my head on nandini's shoulder and she caressed my ear which was still red I'm assuming, "tum thik ho" I asked and she nodded, "just a slight headache" she said and I nodded
"You know it was so funny when that boy screamed heheh" I laughed remembering it and Nandini smiled a little, "I know its funny but baby we don't do that always okay, once in awhile its okay but not always, they will feel scared or sad and what if someone did that with you" she explained and I realized I was wrong
"Im sorry, it won't happen again" I whispered in her shoulder and she kissed my head, "thank you sweetie" she said and I smiled
I have never felt like this, throughout my life I have been alone, the only thing that has stuck with me is monster, he has been here with me and for me. I feel like now Nandini is here, she cares and not just because she shows it but because her eyes give it in.
"Nandu" she hummed, "mujhai na tumhari eyes bohot passant hai, they sparkle sometimes like when you gave me chocolate or when you first helped me" I mumbled in her shoulder
"Really" she asked and I nodded, "no one has said that to me before" she said
I grabbed her hand entwining her fingers with mine, I felt at peace when her hand rested in mine on her thigh.
"We will get you a pill okay" I said and she didnt say anything so I looked up at her to see her looking at me
"Zada dard ho raha hai kya" I asked and she shook her head, "im okay cutie" she said but her face didnt look okay
I moved my head from her shoulder and saw cabir and navya coming with 4 milkshakes, and some food
"Cabir do you have a pill, umm paracetamol, or any other pain med" I asked him and he shook his head, "I do, what do you need" navya said grabbing it out of her bag
"Paracetamol is good" I said and she handed me a pill, "which one is nandini's" I asked and cabir pointed to one
"Here take it" I said giving the pill to Nandini along with her milkshake,
"What happened to you" cabir asked, "a damn headache dude its fucking with me" she said being irritated
"Then start eating more seriously tu bohot kam khati hai" cabir complained and nandini frowned
"Fuck off" she said and I kind of giggled at her choice of words, "you'll realize she has a potty mouth" cabir said and I giggled again
"Stop shit talking about me infant of me" she said and I laughed, "ahh im gonna go crazy with the three of you" she said and I knew it wasn't meant to be hurtful so I chuckled at it
