I woke up hearing my alarm, shit shit shit I hope manik doesnt wake up, I quickly grabbed my phone and turned it off. Putting the phone away my eyes moved to manik who was laying on my chest
he infuriates me sometimes but I get where he was coming from, his emotions are on high alert when he is sick so I let it go, his heard was pounding I could tell, he was trying so hard not to cry becasue he felt like his head will explode
Kissing his head I slipped from under him, and let me tell you its so hard to do that becasue this man is so heavy but after a while I was successful. I hopped in the shower and put on a cute little romper again becasue its comfy and I dont have to put effort in
"Jaannnn" I heard Manik's low voice making me run out of the bathroom
"Hi baby" I said seeing him sitting rubbing his eyes
"Hi shona, I umm I dont feel well" he said and I could already tell by his droopy eyes and his voice
"I have a plan baby" I said and he opened his eyes wide
"You have to shower, then ill get you some breakfast and then you will lay down in bed and watch me work okay" I suggested and he nodded
I leaned forward and kissed his lips thrice, he smiled in between me pecking his lips, "you are an adorable child, now come on shower time baby" I said and he got up leaning on me a little
"Warm water baby, do not shower with cold water, ill grab you clothes" I said and he nodded
He headed in th shower, I grabbed him some clothes, cleaned up the room a bit and saw manik coming out shirtless
"Baby put on a t shirt" said and he shook his head
"Manik its cold in the morning, put this on" I said handing him a t shirt, he took it but groaned wearing it
"Will you stick with me please, I want you around pretty please with a cherry on top" he is so cute
"I will be around baby, but I have to deal with the models and clothing right" he nodded in my neck with arms around my waist
"I promise ill be checking up on you okay honey, but I need you to take it easy please" he nodded
"Only because you are so cute and becasue I love you" he said and I giggled
"Lets go" I said and he got up leaning on me a little, we walked outside, I was about to make breakfast but navy was in the kitchen making breakfast
"Ohh the sun raised from a different side today, navya dhawan in the kitchen ohh" I teased
"Oh whatever you fucker" she slapped my arm making me laugh
"Lets go" she said making me smile, I grabbed the drinks, navya grabbed the brekfast and we walked outside
"Here you guys go" I said putting the food down
"Nandini I need you to come with me" I heard aryman's voice
"Its not eve 10 in the morning, I dont wanna argue with you" I said
"Its the model, radhika she refuses to shoot" he said and I sighed
"Give me a minute" I said and walked to manik
"Baby finish this okay, ill give you a pill right after, do not drink the milkshake yet, let it be at room temp for a bit" I said and manik nodded very cutely
"Ill be back okay" I said and he pulled me a little and pecked my lips, "ill miss you" he is so cute
"Ill miss you too cutie, ill be back, finish this okay and turn on the tv" I said and kissed his cheek
"Cabir make sure he finishes it all, and doesnt touch his milkshake" I ordered and cabir laughed evilly
"No nandu mai", "baby he wont do anything, I love you" I kissed his head
"I love you more" he mumbled and I grabbed my phone walking to the backyard where the models and other staff were staying, there was a mansion in the backyard well more like a house
"Hey guys good morning" I said entering and I saw all the models looking at me
"Good morning maam"
"Guys its nandini, yar mai itni budhi ni hu" they all laughed
"Hi nandini how are you" ruchi said one of my favourite models
"Im good ruchi, how are you"
"Fantastic'
"So are you guys ready" I asked
"Well we would be if you didnt design such shitty outfits" I heard radhika
"Seems like ms radhika woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I mummbled
"She did becasue I am not wearing these clothes" she declared
"Okay why dont you like them" I asked
"Well I had specifically asked for a magenta bikini under this, it complements my skin tone and makes me look nice. If I look nice so will your clothes so I dont see the problem" she uttered
"What colour have we given you" I asked
"Black" she said,
"Okay and girls what colour have you gotten" I asked the rest of the girls
"Black as well' they said and I nodded
"Okay so as far as I know we are doing a few pictures with bikinis right" I asked just to make sure and they all nodded
"So we have printed, black, and a few pastel colour right" I asked again and they all nodded
"Okay so radhika I dont mind giving you a magenta bikini but you arent gonna be in the pictures" I said and she looked furious
"Nandini im an ace model so watch how you word your sentences" she said smirking
"You are an amazing model but or are these other ladies here so if I have to replace you I will and your skin tone might look great in magenta however if you refuse to wear the colours in the collection the you are not gonna be a part of this shoot"
"You will never get anyone better than me" she exclaimed
"I think all these other ladies are just as great as you. Radhika I dont like arguing when it comes to work, yes disagreements happen but I dont want nay of my models to not look their best in a shoot. I know what fits best with your skin tone and with the theme of the shoot" I said and I saw a bit of something in her body language
"Nandini I am sorry for being rude I just dont want to wear anything that doesnt make me look good or doesnt do justice to the piece of clothing" she said and I felt like she was struggling with something
