i laughed.
i was nervous asl. Shoota told me he got an engagement ring for Lovely. She deserves it. They both deserve to be happy with eachother. I think the same for me and ahzani. we been through damn near everything together.
I heard the bathroom door open.
"Aight imma let you know how it go." i told him before hanging up.
Narration:
Ahjee spun around to Jaymo. "How do I look?" She asked him. He didn't respond he just looked at her. A smile grew on his face as he took her hand and left the room.
"You never told me where we were even going jay."
"Cuz it's a surprise."
"I hate surprises."
"Learn to love em."
They walked to the lobby and there was a guy standing there.
"Jaymo?" He asked. And jay nodded. "This way."
Ahjee looked up at him and he just smiled at her.
The man led them to a path around the back of the hotel that was filled with rose petals and candles. Ahjee's grip on Jaymo's hand got tighter.
"I have a question." He said.
"Damn another one? How many questions you gon ask me today?" She said making him laugh.
"Remember when we were 16 and I took you to get milkshakes after the movies."
"Umhum. You got in a fight earlier that day."
"We not talkin about that right now." She smiled and looked at her shoes as they walked.
"Yea i remember that day jaymo."
"What happened."
"You stole one of my rings out my jewlery box and pretended to marry me." She said pointing at her right hand. "I still wear it."
"I noticed. I been thinking about it for sometime now." He said as she looked at him.
"About what?" as they rounded the corner he looked pass her.
She turned and her face glowed.
