As the group finished cleaning the board and got ready to leave the dimly lit room, I stood on the outside of the group, watching them chatter excitedly.

"How do you feel?" A voice taunted over my shoulder.

I looked behind me, only to be faced with a smiling Eddie.

"How do I feel? Considering I just played some fantasy game with Eddie-the freak-Munson and his hellfire club instead of going to the championship game? I don't know I feel pretty normal," I said with a laugh. "Does this mean I get one of those super cool shirts now?"

Eddie grinned. "Obviously, everyone gets a-"

"I was being sarcastic," I teased.

"Right..." he said, eyeing me as he placed the last thing into his backpack.

The rest of the club were still jumping around excitedly as I stood around waiting, getting blinded by the bright spotlights.

"By the way, are you okay after what happened today at lunch? I don't know why those fuckers have to be such pricks. But we're the freaks!" He said, shaking his head.

"Oh, yeah. It's whatever. Fuck them," I laughed, running a hand through soft hair.

Eddie nodded in response as the rest opened the door and exited the room, I followed behind, my hands snuggly in my pockets. I turned around, seeing Eddie turning a different direction.

"Hey!" I called, causing him to pause and look in my direction. "You coming?"

"Florence Spring, always in my business," he said, gripping the strap of his backpack with one hand.
"I've got something to take care of, I'll see you guys later."

He proceeded to walk off as I raised an eyebrow, giving in and turning around to follow the rest of the group outside of the school, where all the jocks were celebrating their victory.

The members of the Hellfire club were still jumping up and down as I trailed at the back, noticing the group of jocks walking by. Just as I thought I'd gone unnoticed, Jason's eyes averted towards me.

"Hey, Spring!" He called, causing half the basketball team to face my direction. Everyone in the hellfire club turned to face me, watching stop in my tracks as Jason walked up to me. I looked behind at the team, Lucas staring at our group guiltily.

"What're you doing? Why weren't you there? You can't just miss any game, especially not the championship game!" He said angrily.

"Why would I wanna cheer for a group of pricks?" I spat blatantly.

"So you're hanging out with this freakish cult instead?" He scoffed.

"Yeah. Now I suggest you leave us the fuck alone."

I was staring at him intensely before he turned around and walked back towards the rest of the team as they walked off again, Lucas hanging back for a second before getting dragged away with them.

"Pricks."

I scanned the area consisting of jocks and cheerleaders, keeping an eye out for Chrissy. I had hardly seen her recently and she'd been acting weird.

Just as I was about to give up, I saw a girl with a curly ponytail in a cheer outfit, it was her.
I ran over to her, she had her head down as she was walking a faster pace than usual.

"Chris?" I called to her, the wind blowing my hair as I ran.

"Hi Florence," she said with a weak smile.

"Where are you headed?" I asked as I looked over to the direction she was facing, deserted from everyone else.

"It's nothing okay? She said, in a tone that I rarely hear her use.

"Chrissy. You've been acting weird lately, what's with you?" I grabbed her arm, stopping her from walking.

"I told you it's nothing!" She snapped, ripping her arm from my grip, looking at me for a few seconds before walking off into the distance.

I contemplated following her, but instead I watched her walk away. As I stood there, confused, a drop of blood fell on the floor. I instantly knew it came from my nose as I put my finger up to it to stop the blood. I cursed under my breath and walked back to the group.
