I woke up, my head resting on Eddie's chest, his arm wrapped around me tightly. The cold air sent shivers down my spine as the wind blew against my skin. My clothes were still sort of damp and my shirt wasn't giving me any source of warmth.
"Shit," I winced, pressing myself closer into Eddie's chest to feel his body heat, my teeth chattering slightly.

"You okay?" He asked, looking down at my face.
I nodded in response. "Here," he said, taking off his sleeveless denim jacket and passing it to me.

"Thankyou Eddie, but this isn't gonna do shit," I said, looking at the sleeveless piece of clothing.

"Trust me," he responded. "It'll do more than you think."

"Fine," I whispered, threading my arms through the sleeve holes. Within a few moments, the top half of my body became warmer. I looked over to Eddie to see the curly haired boy smirking.
"What?" I asked confusedly as I ran my fingers through my short hair.

"Nothing, you just look hot in my clothes," he said confidently.

I scoffed at his statement. "Whatever."

My mind averted to the walkie-talkie I had to steal the previous night after Eddie's walkie got soaked. I held back my laughter as I recalled the frantic scene of me running from the store owner in my wet clothes, and eventually after a while of running, ending up here at skull rock.
"Hey, shouldn't we call the others?" I suggested.

"Yeah," he sighed as he picked up the walkie-talkie in which we had stolen. "Oh, also," he began, reaching behind him, pulling out my headphones which were connected to my walkman, with a single tape inside.

"Shit," I whispered disappointedly, the prised possession of mine completely drenched and ruined. But without wasting anymore time, Eddie began trying to contact Dustin.

"Dustin, can you hear me? Wheeler?" He spoke into the phone.

"Eddie. Holy shit," Dustin replied. "Are you and Florence okay?"

Eddie shook his head, rubbing his eye with his hand. "Nah, man. Pretty... pretty goddamn far from okay."

"Where are you?" Dustin asked.

"Skull rock. Do you know it?" Eddie replied.

"Uh, yeah. That's near Cornwallis and-" Dustin spoke. "Garrett, yeah. I know where that is," a voice sounding like it belonged to Steve interrupted.

"Hold tight. We're coming. We're coming," Dustin said, cutting off the line.

Eddie nodded slowly, switching off the device, putting his head into his hands.

"We'll be okay," I said to him reassuringly. "Okay?"

He nodded, pulling me close to his chest.

We waited a while, our backs leaning against the large rock.

"Oh, boom! Bada bing, bada boom. There she is, Henderson, skull rock!"

Eddie and I immediately connected eyes as the familiar voice drew closer.
