CHATEAU (FEEL ALRIGHT) - DJO

Alana's week had gone agonisingly slow, feeling content knowing that it was friday. Although one thing was playing at her thoughts. Steve's party.

She was practically dreading having to admit to herself the fact she was going to a party where he was hosting. But, she was a good friend, with a somewhat good heart. So if it made Helena a little bit more happy, she needed to prepare herself for the torture that was sure to come with it.

She was just hoping Steve had a good alcohol cabinet stored somewhere.

Stepping out of her car, she sighed happily as she felt the fresh air breeze past her face. She spotted Helena from the corner of her eye leaning on the school walls, clearly waiting for her.

She smiled slightly, quickly rushing towards her. Her face instantly lit up as she saw her friend, reassuring her pain tonight would at least benefit in her friends happiness.

"Alana!" Helena gleed happily. "I genuinely cannot wait for tonight! I hope your party ready!!" She shuffled her shoulders slightly, pretending to dance.

"I'm only going for you, so it better be good." Alana pointed at her, pretending to be serious. Although she couldn't keep the smile from spreading across her face at the sight of her friends excitement.

"It will be amazing." Helena emphasised, Alana rolling her eyes slightly as they made their way through the school corridors.

"Alana!" Someone called from behind her. She turned her head to be greeted with a boy she hadn't talked to very much. Jack Ryder. One of Steve's many friends. He grabbed her arm gently, trying to hint that he wanted a private conversation.

"One sec Helena." She told her friend, who quickly nodded as the boy pulled her aside.

"Hey, umm..I was wondering if..you, umm. If you were going to Steves party tonight?" He stumbled over his words, clearly nervous about the interaction.

A small grin grew on Alana's lips as she realised the boys intentions. One of Steve's many minions were trying to ask her out to his party. This should be fun.

"Yes, actually I am." She said as politely as possible, looking up at the boy doefully.

"Oh cool, I was wondering if maybe, if you want to of course, if we could like, hang out there? I could pick you up from your house." He replied quickly.

"Jack, of course we can, chill out a bit yeah? It would be nice if you picked me up too." She giggled at the boys nervousness, a small content smile growing on his face.

"Ok cool, see you then?" He asked, clearly happy with the response Alana had given him.

"Yeah, sure." she replied, before being interrupted by a shout from down the hallway.

"Yo! Jack, what the fuck are you doing? Come on!" Steve shouted, clearly agitated to see one of his friends were interacting with the person he hated the most.

"I'll see you later yeah?" Jack shouted slightly, the grin never leaving his face as he ran off to his friends.

Alana giggled running up to her friend, clearly knowing the interaction she just had with the boy. "Oh my god!" Alana laughed, hitting her friends shoulder slightly from amusement.
