✘IF THERE WAS ONE THING ALANA KNEW, IT WAS THAT SHE HATED STEVE HARRINGTON.
She hated his hair that always perfectly framed his face. She hated his contagious smile. She hated his stupid sunglasses he wore inside. She hated his addicting laughter. She hated his perfectly smooth skin. She hated everything about him.
She would never forgive herself for thinking she could have possibly liked Steve Harrington. She cringed at the thought. How could anyone like him? She could list many things that go against him. Like his cockiness, his overconfidence, his stupid humour, his awful insults. The list goes on.
She couldn't believe that her now best friend, Nancy Wheeler, could possibly enjoy his company. Nancy knew of Alana's hatred toward him and always tried to convince her otherwise. But, Alana was stuck in her ways. Nothing could be said from the Wheeler girl that could even change a passing thought Alana would have about him. She hated him. No, she despised him.
It didn't help her that all her classes somehow had to be blessed with his presence. That was the main reason Alana was dreading going back to school. She would have to see him everywhere. She hated the thought of him, never mind his actual appearance.
But, Alana had a plan thought out about how she could deal with it. The two hadn't spoken since their heated conversation on Christmas Eve, so she was going to make sure she got the revenge she craved for calling Alana a 'drunken mistake'.
She had a new attitude, not so different from her past one. Although this one showed she quite frankly couldn't give a fuck about what anyone thinks. Whilst doing this, she also wanted to make sure she was the most desired girl in school, Conceited, yes, but there was nothing Alana loved more than knowing boys will practically fall at her feet. It gave her the confidence to do whatever she wants, knowing they'll be little to no consequences. But with this power, she knew she would have to have a responsible head, she couldn't use it stupidly, although most of what she would do is quite idiotic. It wouldn't be too idiotic. Or at least she hoped it wouldn't.
Her main plan for when she goes back to school was a little challenging though. She wanted to make Steve pay for what he did to her. She wanted him to feel the way she felt that winters night. She knew how to do it, all she would need is a little help from someone else. She just hadn't figured out who exactly that someone else could be. Until the first day of school.
When Alana got out of her car, planning on heading straight into the school, she was stopped by a car almost running her over.
"Watch where your going! Jesus!" Alana screamed, hitting the top of the car in frustration. She didn't know if the crazy driver had heard her though, at least not over their deafeningly loud music.
The culprit calmly got out of his car, cigarette balancing in-between his lips. His face was perfectly shaped by his golden curly hair that reached to his shoulders. His piercing blue eyes matched his tight fitted denim jacket and jeans, paired with a white button down that was extremely low down. If he didn't attempt to kill her moments ago, Alana might have felt slightly turned on by him. The boy looked the girl up and down, smirked, then began to walk towards the school. The interaction caused Alana to stand there, dumbfounded. Who the fuck did that boy think he is? As Alana stood there, trying to collect all her thoughts, she was interrupted by a tapping on her shoulder. The girl swivelled round, a smile growing on her face as she was met with none other than Nancy Wheeler.
