SWIMMING POOL - MARIE MADELEINE
✘Alana played anxiously with her rings as her Jonathan and Nancy had finally completed putting the trap in its place. She couldnt say she was the happiest about luring a killer towards them to attempt to kill it, but if it helped her dad she would do anything.
"Remember-" Jonathan began reminding the two but Nancy interuppted him.
"Straight into wills room." She stated, the two looking head on as they each held out a knife in their hands. Alana had placed the knife on her side, too anxious to look at it. But once she realised the two were ready, she placed it in her hand weakly.
"And-" Jonathan repeated once more but this time Alana interrupted.
"Don't step on the trap. Wait for the yo-yo to move, then..." She answered for him. The three looked at each other before nodding, knowing what the next step was. Jonathan ignited the lighter in his hands to make sure it worked, before returning his gaze to the knife in everyones hands.
"All right. You two ready?" He asked the girls, as they nodded their heads in reply. It wasn't everyday you agreed to slice your hand to attract an alien type monster, but somehow Alana had been thrown in the middle of it all.
"On three. One..Two..." Jonathan started but slowed when he saw Nancys face. Alana wasn't even looking at the two, she was just focusing at her not yet harmed hand.
"You don't have to do this.." Jonathan told Nancy, not caring for the other girl. Alana wasn't too fussed anyway, it was apparent to her that her friend had a crush on the girl. She was just hoping he wouldn't get too caught up in it and get his heart broken. Distracting her mind gave her the sudden confidence to drag the knife down her hand, piercing her skin. She gasped slightly as the blood ran down her hand, dripping down onto the carpet. Something rushed to her head, giving her a slight wooziness. She might have cut a little too deep, but that wasnt her concern right now. She squinted her eyes slightly as the pain finally shot through her arm, reaching her hand, making it feel extremely hot.
As she refocused back to the two, she realised they had already cut their hands too, and were helping each other bandage it. She smiled slightly at them, noticing the slight glances they would give each other when one of them wasn't looking.
"Would you mind chucking the bandage stuff over here? Bit of a spillage on your carpet." Alana chuckled, interrupting the pairs intense moment.
"Oh my god, Alana. Sorry." Jonathan sighed slightly before rushing over and quickly wrapping a bandage around her hand.
"Thats a bit deep don't you think?" He asked her, concerned at the amount of blood seeping through the bandage.
"Oh well, the more blood-the more chance this fucker will come here right?" She told him as he quickly nodded, attempting to brush his concern away.
A faint creaking outside made the girl jump slightly, turning to the others.
"Did you hear that?" Nancy asked the two, causing her to nod, the movement giving the girl a slight headache.
"Its just the wind. Don't worry." He told the girls, but it was clearly more directed to Nancy, who he hadn't kept his eyes off of.
"My mum said the lights speak when it comes." He told them, looking down at Nancys bandaged hands.
"Speak?" Nancy asked back, eyebrows furrowing in confusion, Alana just listened closely, too tired to talk. Her emotions were on edge, every little sound startling her.
