THIS COULD BUILD US A HOME - THE GARDEN

Alana and Eddie had woken up later in the morning. The two had decided to go to town for the day as a way to enjoy the newfound company between them. It was strange to her how they had become somewhat friends in the past few days. If someone had told her a month ago she would be willingly hanging out with Eddie Munson for 3 days straight, she wouldn't believe you. She probably would have laughed in your face and called you ridiculous, but here she was.

The two were walking through Hawkins town stoned as fuck, when they impulsively decided to watch a random movie in the theatres to mong out in. All they had done throughout the day was go into record stores, laugh at pointless things they saw and aimlessly walk around. As the two approached the theatre, they read out the movies they were currently showing, but one caught her eye, especially due to the shitty red graffiti below it.

Alanas back instantly straightened as she read it, Eddie arm wrapping around her shoulder in an attempt to calm her down. Alana may have not been friends with the Wheeler girl, but nothing angered her more than seeing another girl be called a thing like a slut.

"Lets forget about the movie ok?" Eddie told her, steering her away from the theatres and down the path. Although she stopped in her tracks as she heard a familiar laugh from down an alleyway. She turned, her eyes squinting menacingly as they locked with none other than Steve Harrington. She let out an angry breath before walking towards them, Eddie unwillingly following her as he began to tell her to turn back around and ignore them, but she was sick of him getting away with stuff like this.

Tommy was still spraying something on the walls, unbeknownst to the fact that a very angry girl was storming up to the group.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" She shouted, approaching Steve. She was furious. No girl deserved to be humiliated like that in the centre of the town. She was still incredibly high, which was probably why she got the courage to shove him angrily; as if it would knock some sense into him.

"Oh hi Alana. See your slumming it with the other freak now. Your standards have clearly lowered." He laughed at her, staring down at her angrily.

"Hey man don't get me involved in this, you don't know me." He stated, putting his hand out as if to show his peace.

"Seriously? Just because your butthurt that Nancy most likely realised your a prick and dumped you doesn't mean your allowed to embarrass her in front of the entire town!" She screamed, the others turning to witness the drama unfolding in front of them.

"Oh yeah? You don't know shit bunny, so I suggest you shut your mouth." He told her, taking a step closer to her intimidatingly.

"Look at you. Your high as fuck. Your hanging around with a boy thats probably doped you up in hopes that you won't reject him when he tries to fuck you." He told her through gritted teeth. This statement just angered her even more.

"You don't know what your talking about Harrington. Watch your mouth." She told him, taking a step further to the point they were practically touching chests. He just looked down at her, the two holding incredibly long eye contact as they tried to decipher the other.

Their staring contest was interrupted by a shout from behind them, Eddie moving out the way slightly so he didn't get in the middle of the fighting.

"Aw hey there princess." Carol smiled next to the two, looking over at someone. This stopped Alana and Steve's proximity, the two stepping away from each other slightly as if they had been caught doing something.
