After Steve finally put Alana down and placed her on his car behind them, she screamed in his face.

"This is kidnapping you know!" She groaned, cringing slightly as she saw how bad his face was beaten.

"Oh god, your face." She whispered slightly, furrowing her eyebrows in slight concern as she began to raise her hands to help him. Once she realised what she was doing she froze slightly, Steve looking down at her hands in confusion before she relaxed them, embarrassed. She was definitely still high. That was why she did that.

"Alright I'm gonna get your something for your cuts, Alana you want anything?" Tommy asked, his arm wrapped around Carols shoulder.

"Ooo, some marshmallows!" She told him. He just nodded, mumbling something to himself before walking into the store. Steve sat down next to Alana on the hood of the car, running his tongue on the inside of his lip.

"I hope you learned your lesson." She mumbled after some time of silence, bringing her knees up to her chest. Steve just nodded in return, looking down.

"I mean, the things you say Harrington. I don't think you realise how they hurt people." She scoffed, getting angrier as she thought about it. "And you always get away with it. Its like no one dares to challenge king Steve." She murmured in a mocking tone. Steve just smiled at her.

"You do a pretty good job at that yourself bunny." He looked over to her, staring at her slightly before turning back away. His face slowly dropped as he looked at his surroundings, distracting himself from the conversation.

"It was a low move. I know. I feel awful about it already." He shook his head, staring down at the floor now. Alana scoffed at this, fiddling with the rings on her fingers.

"But you still did it." She reminded him, not deterring away from the reason she got herself in this situation in the first place. Steve didn't reply at this, bringing another awkward silence between them.

"Why were you hanging out with Eddie?" Steve suddenly asked, a slight annoyance in his tone. Alana laughed at this, before realising he actually wanted an answer.

"Because I wanted to. Why, you jealous Harrington?" She asked, teasing smile plastered across her face.

"Maybe I was." He simply replied back, not looking over at her. She rolled her eyes at this, knowing it was another attempt to get under her skin. She wanted to reply with a snarky comment, but nothing was coming to her mind.

"What would you say to that, Alana?" He asked, turning his focus to her, bringing a sudden close proximity between to two. Alana took a sharp breath, deterring her eyes from his stare. He didn't stop his gaze though, nor did he pull back from their closeness.

The ding of the shop bell interrupted his gaze as Tommy threw a coke can and aspirin at him, aswell as passing Alanas marshmallows to her. She quickly opened them, placing one in her mouth to distract her from whatever you could call the conversation her and Steve had.

"You owe me $2.20 big boy." Tommy told him. Steve quickly took the aspirin then placed the coke can on the side of his head. "Don't worry he'll need more than aspirin when we're done with him." He told him.

Alana just scoffed at this, not wanting to say anything to cause another arguement between them all. She just stood up, ready to leave the whole conversation itself.
