EVENTUALLY - TAME IMPALA
✘Alana was petrified to say the least. It took Hopper at least 30 minutes to calm her down, and once she did she had managed to confuse Hopper more than ever before.
Alana explained what happened when he was gone, excluding the part where Jack had called her, telling him about the creature that seemed to be attempting to attack her.
Hopper instantly blamed the call as a prank, like someone was trying to trick her and freak her out. And as for the screeching outside; that was just a coyote or wolf. Alana couldn't allow herself to believe this theory. It all felt to eerie and dangerous. But, she didn't protest with the man as she didn't want to sound crazy.
Alana had eventually drifted off on Hoppers shoulder, adamant that she didn't want to be left alone. When she woke up she felt a little more calm, but still incredibly shaken up by the situation.
She was unable to explain to herself what it was that interacted with her last night, but she knew it was some kind of vicious predator; one she had never encountered ever before.
Her guard was fully up as she entered the school; hyperaware of any movement or noise made. To others she must've looked crazy or on some kind of drug, but it was the only thing that made her feel somewhat prepared to whatever was out there; possibly coming for her.
As she walked through the halls her attention was moved to two people standing by a locker; steve and nancy. Nancy looked more uncomfortable than usual, Alana instantly picking up the fact that something probably happened between the two last night. She scoffed internally, Steve is such a man-whore. She thought to herself.
She walked off through the school, her mission to just make it to her lesson and get the day over with. She felt a gentle tap on her shoulder and swiftly turned around in defense mode.
"Hey, Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. You ok?" She was met with Jacks concerning eyes. She quickly let out a sigh of relief to the boy.
"Yeah, I'm good, just feeling a bit paranoid today I guess." She admitted, not wanting to tell anyone about the events of last night; they would just think shes crazy.
"Oh, sorry about that. I was just coming to see if you were alright from last night, Steve can be a real dick sometimes." He sighed, looking down slightly as if he was embarrassed.
"Its fine Jack, I get it all the time from him." Alana reassured him. She felt bad. Really bad. She could tell that the boy had some feelings for her, and it made her heart yearn.
Alana was never the type to get in relationships. If she was honest, she had never been in love. She couldn't understand her own feelings, let alone loving someone. That was the main reason she slept with people and didn't talk to them after. Relationships were too complicated and ended up with her feeling trapped and scared. She was scared of the idea of falling in love.
"Ok, cool. I've uhh gotta get to class soo." He smiled at her before quickly walking off as the bell rung.
Alana rubbed her temples in frustration. She hated everything. She felt like everything was turning on her, her friends, her mind and her feelings. She just wanted to feel normal for once.
As she lifted her head, she made eye contact with Steve. She sighed frustratingly as she quickly turned her head and walked off, aiming for her classroom.
