YOUR WOMAN - WHITE TOWN
✘After her class, Alana wasn't able to find Jonathan anywhere. She didn't blame him for not wanting to be at school at all, but it meant that Alana was going to have to spend lunch by herself. This meant hiding away in the toilets, but she almost screamed when she realised she had gym last period.
She cursed to herself, angrily picking up her bag and silently storming towards the gym. Alana used to love sport, her highlight being cheerleading like any other popular girl. But now that she lost Helena she feels unable to talk to anyone at all, which makes the situation incredibly uncomfortable.
As she pushed through the doors, she saw that she was somewhat early so she took that opportunity to swiftly get changed and sit down on the bleachers.
Alana observed the groups of girls and boys coming in, noticing their little laughs and subtle eye rolls at each other when they weren't looking. It made her wonder if that was what Helena was like with her. Were all friendships disingenuine? Or are we just friends with the wrong people?
Alana was lost in her thoughts, but quickly recollected them when she realised mostly everyone was waiting on the floors. The coach explained that because basketball season was coming up the boys would would play and the girls would practice cheerleading for the team.
The girls lined up around the court, Alana being at the front in the middle somewhat. As she bent over and reached her arm out to stretch, she lifted her head up to see Steve glancing at her. She smirked slightly, gaining some confidence as she turned her body around (her back facing the boys) and repeated the stretch again.
When she turned back around Steve scoffed to himself, rubbing his hand over his mouth before focusing back on the game. Alana laughed to herself slightly, but also realised something in her mind. She could easily tease Steve like this right? Yes, they hate each other but every man has their pathetic ways of not being able to handle themselves when a woman approaches.
The thought lingered in Alana's head, giving her a new type of way to beat Steve in their fighting war.
The basketball game started, meaning the girls had to attempt to recreate the formation they had been learning the past lessons. Alana's wasn't paying much attention to the girls as she watched the boys play against each other.
There were shirts and no shirts, and it just so happened Steve was no shirts. She hated to admit it, but he looked good. The gym lights were reflecting on his slightly sweaty chest in the most perfect way they could. He brushed his hair with his hands frustratingly as the opposite team got another goal, turning his head towards the cheerleaders. But before Alana would allow Steve to realise she was staring she continued her routine with the girls; ensuring her shorts were a little too high than usual as she flaunted herself slightly.
The coach finally called off the lesson, leaving a unusually happy Alana to skip back to the changing rooms, brushing past Steve as she did so. Her new plan had brought her mood up instantly. She knew she had a good flirting skill with boys, so using that skill would be easy to one-up Steve a bit more.
