Chapter 17 - Mischievous Plan

Bartholomew's pov:

-"There is one way to separate your daughter from this lowly man" Richard said mischievously.
-"Tell me then and don't beat around the bush!" I scolded him. Sometimes Richard can be very annoying.
-"We can use the issue with the omega girl to our advantage"
-"What about it?"
-"As you know Alpha Alexander isn't willing to give the omega girl back"
-" Why does this idiot always have to stand in my way?" I said frustrated.
-"Do not worry we will get him out of the way soon and without having to account to the Council".
-"How?" I asked while Richard gave me a mischievous look.
-"I have a plan about it....." Richard said slyly.
-"Will I take the omega girl back?" I asked him. I don't know why but I wanted this girl. Her innocence drove me crazy. I would use her as one of my concubines of my pack"
-"Unfortunately I can't do anything about it....... for now...Alexander uses the mate bond and you know no one can do anything against it....."
-"Damn with this bastard......" I exclaimed frustrated.
-"We can't have it all, my friend..." Richard commented.
-"Careful Richard, you are crossing the line, and you know what this means to me....." I threatened and continued "If I didn't have the Council on my tail we would see if this moron would be able to take her away from me....."
-"Don't worry we will find a way to get her back eventually"

~~~~~~~Several hours later

Elektra's pov:

I woke up early in the morning, took my breakfast and decided to go for a walk as I had the morning free. I was wondering around the garden when I saw an omega passing by and decided to stop and ask her about Alexander. I haven't seen him since the last meeting and I really started missing him.  We have a great time together and I love his company. As it was our last day here, I wanted to spend most of my free time with him but unfortunately wherever I looked for him I couldn't find him.

-"I am sorry miss, can you tell me where I can find the Alpha of the Silver Dawn Pack?" I asked the omega girl.
-"Ι haven't seen him since morning. I will inform him if you want" the omega said willingly.
-"I would love to, thank you! When you find him tell him that I am waiting for him here, please"
-"Ok miss, I will" the omega said, bowed to me and left hastily.
I was staring at the variety of flowers the garden had, waiting for the omega or Alexander to show up. After several minutes the omega girl came back causing me a sense of frustration. She bowed in front of me trembling.
-"I.....I..... am sorry Miss. I can't find...... Alpha Alexander anywhere! Please don't punish me..."
-"Punish you? For what?" I exclaimed surprised.
-"For ......for not finding him" the girl said timidly.
-"Don't worry. I would never do such a thing!" I reassured her. She took a deep breath and thanked me heartily.
-"There is no need to thank me about anything. You are free to go" I said giving her a wide smile.
- "Allow me to tell you that you are a very kind person miss" the girl said, bowed to me and left.

Her words made me smile but when I thought about it I came to a heartbreaking conclusion. In this pack as in mine, the omegas were being mistreated, and that was really sad. We can't call ourselves civilized when we treat some of our kind as slaves. This isn't evolution or civilization. I had to do something about it and fast! 

Some more minutes passed with me looking everywhere for Alexander to no avail. When I realized that there was chance to see him again, I decided to take a walk to the forest. I was so angry with the whole situation that I felt I was drowning! I wanted a way to vent my anger and frustration.

Unaware of the place, I decided that it was better not to go far from the pack house. I was walking down the path admiring the beautiful scenery when I felt a weird presence. Someone was watching me. But who, and why? I looked around me, scanning the area to no avail. I didn't see anyone.
