Chapter 74 - Looking for Elektra

Elektra's pov:

I sat there dumbfounded trying to figure out what was going on when he came even closer making me feel uncomfortable.

-"What...what are you doing here?" I wondered as I curled up more into myself.

-"I came for you" he said.

-"What do you want from me?"

-"To get what you owe me" he said incredulously.

-"I owe you nothing" I contradicted annoyed.

-"Oh, no my dear. You do..." he said and came closer to me. We were inches away when he put his head on top of mine and inhaled deeply making me sick. I leaned my head away from him trying to avoid him.

-"Why are you doing this? Why do you treat me like this? Don't you feel anything good for me? I was your daughter remember? And I was an obedient one...." I said in pain.

-"You aren't my daughter" he corrected me in a strictly manner.

-"Maybe not by blood, but you are the one who raised me, who taught me everything I know... All this doesn't mean anything to you?" I wondered.

-"Your mother deceived me" he said angrily.

-"I am not my mother!" I yelled at him and then trying to calm down I took a deep breath. "It isn't my fault if my mother deceived you" I tried to reason.

- "Parents' sins discipline children" he said coldly.

-"Who gave you the right to judge over the others? You aren't above all. Only our Goddess is!"

-"I don't need anyone's permission to get what I want" he commented arrogantly making me lose any hope.

-"Who is the man that brought me here?"

-"Oh, you mean Jack? He is Andros' brother!"

-"This bastard that because of him I almost lost my life, worked for you?" I wondered aloud.

-"Of course. Many wolves work for me because they recognize me as their true leader"

-"You are delusional. Everyone turned their backs on you"

- "That's what you think. You should have seen how eagerly Andros' brother offered me his help when I told him I wanted to kidnap you" he said haughtily.

-"Please spare me the details. You know very well that these two do not represent the whole of wolf society.''

-"It's not just these two. Many wolves desire my return so that order can be restored"

-"What? This is absurd! You know very well that order was restored by Alex. Everyone knows it"

-"Alex, your pathetic mate"

-"We are no longer mates. I rejected him" I said sternly.

-"So the rumors are true..." he said with a wicked grin.

-"It's none of your business" I scolded him. "Why don't you disappear? You managed to escape from prison and instead of going somewhere where no one will ever find you and spend the rest of your life happily you are here with me. Why?"

-"Pending issues" he said incredulously.

-"What kind of pending issues do you have with me? I've never hurt you nor did anything against you. Whereas you cursed me, imprisoned me, tried to rape me and kill me and my beloved ones. I had enough of you. Don't you think?" I yelled at him.

-"No, I don't!" he growled and abruptly stood up and left the room.

Alexander's pov:

John just called me to confirm that the Council is nearly sure that Bartholomew has kidnapped Elektra. I immediately called Steve and asked him to search for deserted places like old places, factories or warehouses. He mustn't have gone far.
