Chapter 6: Uninvited Guests

Everyone at the banquet pulled out their weapons simultaneously and surrounded their respective royal families to protect them from the coming danger they sensed. Lucy and Lisanna along with Natsu and Bixslow moved to protect their younger sibling.

" What is the meaning of this?" Lisanna questioned glaring at Bixslow. While she pointed her sword at him.

" What do you mean? I am the one who is supposed to ask that" retorted Bixslow.

Wendy peeked from behind her sister and accused " What? We have nothing to do with the oncoming calvary. It must be yours."

Romeo defended his brother " Why would we do this? We are here for the same reason as you are." The entire group glared at each other and felt betrayed.

" Everyone Look, " said Levy. Everyone turned their heads to see a massive wave of black army that was neither the Gold of Imagination or Red of Reality. The black wave parted to let through a man with a cover over his face.

Natsu broke free from the protective circle and asked " Who are you?" While Lucy emerged out of her circle. Both of them stood side by side while looking at the mysterious man. To the crowd it looked like the King and Queen of the olden times.

" I am hurt that you don't recognize me," he said with a hurt face. "Well I suppose I can't blame you, you were very young the last time we met."

" Enough chit chat. Tell who you are or I will have to get it out the hard way" shouted Erza.

" Ah! Erza Scarlet I presume. You definitely match your reputation. But I am here not to fight but to make a deal" said the mystery man.

" What kind of deal and why would we even agree to it?" retorted Laxus.

The mystery man chuckled and said " you will agree because the welfare of both the queendom and kingdom depend on it."

" Tell us the deal and stop playing mind games" yelled Mira making her way to the front.

"Always getting straight to the point I see," He said. " Well, you will be given one week to decide of whether you agree or not."

" What is this absurd deal? Spit it out" enquired Jellal.

" Ah! Yes. Both nations will have to clear out of their homes by the end of this month or I will unleash my army to slaughter and take it by force." he cheerfully exclaimed.

" What!" exclaimed an enraged Natsu and Lucy. " Why in the heavens would we agree to that absurd deal, you psychopath" retorted back Lucy as she lost her cool.

Lucy thought I had worked hard to keep this queendom from slipping into despair to just give it away as her eyes burned with rage. Natsu looked over at Lucy to see her trembling.

" You are crazy. That is not fair at all" yelled Juvia as she looked over the amount of men the man had.

"All is not fair in love and war, sweetheart" he said as he removed his mask. Everyone gasped as they saw a man that was thought to be dead 100 years ago. They all uttered one word " ZEREF !"
