CHAPTER- 7

* 100 yrs ago*

"Zeref, Where are you?" called out Mavis as she giggled and tried to find Zeref. Zeref who was hiding behind the door tried to hold in his laughter as he watched his wife trying to find him.

Zeref came out of his hiding spot and closed her eyes with his hands and asked " Guess Who?" Mavis giggled and removed her husband's hands from her eyes and hugged him.

A maid just then came in and found the royal couple in an awkward situation. " Your Majesties we.. OH MY! Forgive me.... I will go now"

"No It's fine. What is it?" asked Mavis. The flustered maid replied with " The men and women of the kingdom are yet again fighting against each other."

Both Mavis and Zeref glanced at each other with evident worry on their faces.

*Present*

" Zeref ! How are you still alive?" asked an astounded Levy. Levy looked over at her best friend wondering how she was processing this. Both Lucy and Natsu were shellshocked in their positions.

" Always curious aren't we Levy McGarden. But that is a secret for another day" replied Zeref unfazed by their outburst. At that time an army member came and whispered something into his ear. He nodded and turned back to them. " So what do you say?" he asked.

At that moment Lucy and Natsu came out of their shock and Natsu had this angry aura around him and glaring daggers at Zeref. "We will at least need 2 to 3 weeks time ,one week is not enough," Lucy pleaded. The girls looked at her in surprise and wondered what she was planning.

*Natsu's thought when he was shocked*

I remember him now. The man who killed my father. The reason I lost my chance to spend my childhood with my brothers and got raised by dragons.Zeref the word that was my driving source that made me come this far. Now that he is in front of me it took everything in my power not to go and kill him.

Natsu came back to the real world and heard Lucy say " ...3 weeks time ,one week is not enough."

Zeref scowled and said " One week is all there is no room for bargain. Take it or Die." Just as these words left his mouth Natsu tried to rush at Zeref but Lucy caught his hand and pulled him back with a strength that surprised him.

" I know you are stupid but I didn't except this much. Are you trying to get yourself killed? '' Lucy hissed at Natsu. He just glared at her and shook her hand off his.

" Ok fine. One week" replied Natsu. Zeref smiled and he with his whole army vanished into thin air.

Wendy and Romeo said in unison " So... Who is this Zeref ?"

Makarov the elder of Reality spoke up to answer the young prince and princess' question " Zeref was the 10th and last king of Magnolia."

Porlyusica the elder of Imagination continued " The kingdom that once consisted of both Imagination and Reality."Both Wendy and Romeo nodded their heads.

" What do we do about this?" questioned Lisanna as she went up to her sister.

" I think we should attack him with full force," said Bixslow. Lisanna looked at him as if he was living under a rock.

" We don't have enough soldiers to go against Zeref's army," said Jellal and Erza at the same time. They both for the first time looked at each other with respect instead of hate.

" Then there is only one other option," said Gajeel.

" And that would be ....... We don't even know where he is hiding" questioned Juvia. " As much as I hate to admit it ,Juvia is correct," commented Gray as he inclined his head toward her.

Gajeel began " We have to only attack him but not with only our armies but with both of them..."

"Both of whom?" intertwined Mira.

Gajeel and Levy both said at the same time " Both of Imagination and Reality's armies. We need to form an alliance."
