Chapter 24: Secret room

CHAPTER-24

*Team Reality*

They searched the ancient scrolls with no luck as they only found the history that they studied. " Let's take a break and go train on the field," said Natsu. Lucy agreed and they went out to the training field. Lucy changed into the dress she wore when coming here.

As she was choosing a sword to wield she heard some people whispering next to her. " Hey isn't that the Queen of Imagination? What is she doing here" asked a person . " I think an alliance or something....I heard that the troops are being trained very hard" replied the other person.

She went to the ground to see everyone already partnered and dueling. She sighed and thought of going back when Natsu came up to her and asked " Do you want to duel with me?"

The entire field turned to look at them when he asked. She looked at him like, 'Are you serious?'. His facial expression said 'why not'.

" Sure, let's duel," said Lucy as she smiled. A crowd formed to see these two fight.

Both were smiling as they stood in their stances. The fight was very fast paced as they dodged and blocked each other's attack. Natsu's sword cut through her hair band and let her hair loose like a golden wave. They both stopped for a second, surprised but kept fighting.

The fight ended when Natsu's sword cut Lucy's upper arm. The crowd cheered for their king and Lucy laughed and said " It's been a while since I had a fight this interesting."

" Of course, you were fighting the King of Reality," said Natsu, grinning at her. Someone in the crowd said " It looks like the Queen herself is weak...No wonder they are women after all."

Natsu and Lucy turned to look at who it was but they were well camouflaged in the crowd. Lucy looked at Natsu accusily and said " I see....your intention to ask me to fight was to humiliate me and my queendom....you never change" and angrily left the field.

" Lucy, it's what not you think," he said as he followed her out. He found her near the dining room. " Lucy!!" he called out. Lucy in a hurry to go tripped over her feet and pushed against the wall and fell into it. Natsu also fell into the secret room with her.

Natsu fell on top of Lucy. Lucy pushed him off her and looked around. " Where are we?" asked Lucy as she turned to Natsu.

" I have no idea....and I am really sorry for that comment" apologized Natsu. Lucy sighed and said " It's fine I got angry for no reason."

Lucy and Natsu looked around and found a desk in the corner. They rummaged through it and found a burnt book and a diary.

" Hey, this looks like my dad's handwriting," said Natsu. Natsu turned to look at Lucy. Lucy was looking at the burnt book with horror etched on her face.

Natsu came over to see what she was reading. After reading he looked equally as terrified as her. " I think we found it Natsu ... ...The motive for Zeref and the reason behind your father's death." said Lucy.
