Chapter 16: Intruders

CHAPTER-16

Romeo asked " What do you mean mind control?" " Well see the diagrams in the book...it looks like you are controlling someone and I recognise some of the words in the text" replied Juvia.

" But according to the legend shouldn't the last spell be the entering into the mind spell?" asked Bixslow.

" Yes...but what if Zeref used this book after that?" questioned Lis. " Your right....this is his library to begin with....But how did he enter if we have the key and the jewel to see the book?" asked Mira.

Just then they all heard noise coming from the end of the corridor. " Everyone stop talking," whispered Laxus. " Someone is here....Hide" whispered Jellal.

They all hid in the cabinets along the wall but Lucy couldn't hide with anyone as her dress was too big. " Shit I knew I should have changed," She cursed. " Guys hide here...I will go upstairs....If I get caught don't come to help me, I mean it" said Lucy as she specially glared at Erza and Mira.

*Natsu's cabinet*

She ran up the stairs just as the intruders came into view. It looked like there were 20 men shrouded in black coming out a door in the back. The man in charge seemed to signal 10 of them to go upstairs and signaled the others to stay by his side.

Shit ! Lucy is there...Will she be able to take them on? Natsu thought worriedly. Just as he thought that he heard a scream from upstairs. All the muscles in his body tensed ready to jump out to help.But he remembered Lucy asking to not help.

He peeked out the door to see Lucy being dragged down the stairs with a bloody lip. For some reason an uncontrollable rage filled him seeing her in this state. The man snickered at her " my my look what we have here....I caught a gold prize" grabbing her hair and tilting it back.

*At the same time inside the Levy and Erza's cabinet*

"Erza look, Lucy doesn't have her sword" pointed out Levy as she saw Lucy run up the stairs. " Shit we should have let her change....I hope she doesn't get caught." mumbled Erza. Proving her wish wrong they both heard a scream from above.

They looked at each other worried as they witnessed their Queen being dragged down the stairs. Erza said " I am going to ignore Lucy's wish ..... If I feel it is too risky I will help her." Levy nodded agreeing with her.

Just then they saw Natsu come out of his cabinet and put his sword to the man's neck. " Let go of her NOW" growled Natsu.

The girls looked at him in shock. Lucy asked, shocked " Are you crazy? I asked you to stay inside." " Sorry, Lucy. I couldn't stand him treating you like that" replied Natsu. At that all of the others also came out of their respective cabinets and surrounded the black men.

" Holy....I can't," said Lucy. " Fine,Let's fight" she said and she kicked the man in his shin and stood up. Erza threw a sword at her and she caught it perfectly.

Lucy cut the bottom of her dress up to her knees. " Finally I can move freely" She exclaimed. Everyone got into a fighting stance and prepared to fight.
