Chapter 13: The Entrance

CHAPTER-13

Lucy and Natsu came down to the ground and the blinding light vanished. Their clothes had been replaced with the robes of the Queen and King of Magnolia. " Those robes .... they look just like the robes in this picture" exclaimed Levy as she pointed to the picture in the book.

" What is that key for and what just happened?" questioned Laxus. Lucy and Natsu looked at each other with pure shock etched on their faces. " We only know what the key is for. We didn't know that if we joined it, this would happen" replied Natsu gesturing to them.

" What is the key for then?" asked Juvia. " The key is for entering the Magnolia archive.They separated the key so both lands will only have access when they decide to make peace" replied Lucy.

" Then, Do you guys know where it is?" enquired Mira. " I think I have a guess," replied Lucy while looking in the direction of the ceremonial grounds. " You mean it's there?" asked the shocked Levy. Lucy just nodded her head.

*Ceremonial grounds*

Everyone one got down from their horses. Lucy struggled to get down while wearing those heavy robes. Natsu saw her struggle and went over to help her. But before he could, Erza and Mira came and helped her off the horse.

" Ugh! Why are the old robes so heavy and inconvenient? Plus why didn't you guys let me change?" whined Lucy. All the girls rolled their eyes and giggled.

" For one there might be a reason why the combination changed your dress and second of all you look very beautiful in that," said Lisanna.

" Hmp! Whatever." grumbled Lucy while smiling. " Where do you think the archive is in this place?" asked Gray.

" Well if our guess is correct then it should be underneath the altar" said Natsu pointing to the gap between the altar and earth.

" Then do we have to destroy the altar?" asked Jellal. " I don't think so. This is a magical key so we should be able to use it without there being a physical lock" answered Lucy .

" Oh! I get it" said Levy, understanding, dawning on her face.

" Look over there, Do you guys see the shimmering surface, I think that is the lock where we have to fit the key in" , said Levy.

Lucy nodded and went up to the shimmer and placed the key above it. A voice echoed out " Who requests access to the archive?" Lucy looked alarmed but managed to answer " Lucy Heartifila The Queen of Imagination." The voice replied with "Access Denied" and the key came out again.

They all looked confused. Natsu came up and put the key inside and said " Natsu Dragneel King of Reality." The same thing happened again. " What's going on? Did they forget to give access to you guys" asked Gajeel. " I don't think that's what is happening," said Levy.

" The key was designed so it could only be accessed when the lands were together again.... I have an idea" exclaimed Levy.

" I think I know what you mean, Levy," Lucy said as she walked up to Natsu and took his hand. She dragged him over to the shimmer and placed the key inside it together. Natsu finally understood and they both said " Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia King and Queen of Magnolia." They all held their breath as they waited. The voice said " Access Granted."
