Chapter 8: Deal is sealed

 CHAPTER-8

*Imagination* * The Next morning after the ceremony*

Lucy walked back and forth in her office chanting " No no no" over and over again. Lucy thought I am not going to work with those childish brats. All the other girls looked at their friend with worry etched in their faces.

Lisanna moved up to her sister and put a hand on her shoulder. Lucy turned to come face to face with Lisanna and realized that she had an audience. " Lucy, We all hate this idea but it is the only thing we can do" soothed Lisanna. As the others nodded and Wendy came over to give Lucy a hug.

" Plus even with combining both the armies we are still outnumbered by thousands of soldiers." Erza said as she looked out the window to see the women training in the field.

" I know guys, Just give me time to process this information." said Lucy. Levy walked up to Lucy and handed her a scroll. Lucy opened and read it out loud " As stated above the rules for the alliance have been agreed and will be followed by......" and got out the royal quill and signed the scroll and stamped it with the royal seal. " Queen Lucy Heartfilia"

Mira took the scroll from Lucy and went up to the window and whistled. A female hawk came and sat on Mira's outstretched arm. Mira tied the scroll to the hawk's leg and let it fly over to Juvia, who was waiting on the border of the queendom.

*Reality* * The next morning after the ceremony*

Natsu stood behind his desk glaring daggers at Gajeel " Just what were you thinking, proposing an alliance with those women." Gajeel just stared back at Natsu unfazed.

Gajeel defended himself" Natsu, be rational. This is the only way we are going to win this war."

" Gajeel is right unless you are thinking of giving up your kingdom" questioned Laxus.

" Oh! That is not it and neither is the alliance.He just wants to kill Zeref himself as revenge for killing our father" commented Bixslow. Romeo looked over at his brothers staring intensely at each other as if willing each other to say more.

" Alright fine. Just bring me that damn scroll" snapped back Natsu at Bixslow. Bixslow made his way to his brother and gave the scroll. Natsu took out the royal quill and signed the scroll and stamped it with the seal. "King Natsu Dragneel'"

Jellal took the scroll from Natsu and opened the balcony door and whistled. A male hawk came and sat on the railing of the balcony. Jellal tied the scroll and let it fly over to Gray, who was waiting at the border of the kingdom.

*Border between Imagination and Reality*

Gray and Juvia were restless as they waited for their respective orders to arrive. Suddenly Juvia looked over at Gray in alarm. Gray saw this and asked " What is it? Why are you staring at me?"

" Nothing. Just that you happened to strip your shirt and pants all of a sudden" replied Juvia covering her eyes with her hands. Gray looked down and cursed while trying to put his clothes back on.

Just then they both heard the cry of their respective hawks. They both extended their arms and the hawks landed on their owner's hands. They untied the scrolls and looked at each other and nodded their heads.

And Just as that after a hundred years of hate an alliance was formed between Imagination and Reality. Both Gray and Juvia extended their hands and exchanged a handshake to seal the deal.
