JUNGKOOK'S POV•

I was surprised when Auburn wanted to stay and watch us play games. I never took her as the video game loving type. I guess you can watch them be played and not like them though so it made sense.

Still, I can't say I wasn't enjoying every minute of this.

Auburn was close to me, too close. Of course I didn't mind one bit. It did make me nervous having her so close to me, which caused me to die more times then I would have liked in the game.

Every time she'd shift, her shoulder would brush against mine, taking my attention away from the game completely. Thus causing me to lose to Tae which I'd then have to hear him boast about it.

Regardless, I was happy. How couldn't I be when the girl I liked was sitting so close to me. I was on cloud nine.

When Tae and I finally stopped playing the game it was pretty late.

"I'm gonna lay down and sleep." Tae says out loud and I look over at Auburn to see her frown.

"Lame. I'm not tired I don't want to go to sleep." She says and I shrug. "I'm not tired either."

"Well then you two hang out. You're best buds after all. I'm going to sleep." He says as he shuts the tv off and rolls over.

I look at the time then over at Auburn. "Is it too late to swim? I want to swim." I say and she smiles widely. "Not at all! Let me change and I'll meet you outside."

I watched as she disappeared from the room, going to change into her bathing suit. I too put on my swim trunks and headed outside.

It was dark but there was a slight glow from the porch light which was just enough to see.

Auburn wasn't out here yet so I made my way into the pool, getting use to the water quickly.

I waited about five minutes before the back door opened and into the light came Auburn. I nearly gasped.

She was wearing a different bathing suit then last time and I wouldn't lie, this one was more revealing then the last one. It was a light blue two piece that hugged her frame perfectly. It definitely didn't leave much up to your imagination either.

Without a word, she lowered herself into the pool, hugging herself because of the cold.

As she made her way closer to me, I gulped. She was definitely very cold, if you know what I mean. I had to force myself not to stare.

"This pool is like ice I swear. We should have went into the hot tub instead." She says and I laugh, knowing we definitely should have.

"We still can. I do want to swim a bit though." I say as I kick off the wall, starting to do laps in the pool.

I could feel Auburn's eyes on me as I swim around, trying to distract myself from the fact that it was just Auburn and I, alone, at night, half naked in this pool.

It was definitely a very exciting thought but I had to compose myself. I needed to think with my head, and the right one at that.

Auburn started to swim around too, both of us doing laps. Then suddenly it turned into a competition on who could touch the wall first.

"I'll definitely beat you!" Auburn laughs as she gets ready to swim.

"You won't but you can try." I say and she smirks. "Wanna bet?" My brows raise. "Bet what?" Auburn grins as she looks me up and down. "If I win, you gotta do whatever I say for a whole day."

I laughed. "That sounds like a very child like bet." Auburn shrug. "Guess you'd better win then."

Her and I brace ourselves, ready to prove who was going to win. It was definitely going to be me but I didn't say that out loud again.

Finally, we kicked off the wall, going head to head trying to make it to the other end of the pool first.

As I got to the wall, I slapped it, coming up for air. Just as I was about to cheer about how I won, I see Auburn there grinning at me.

She fucking did it. She touched the wall first.

"Looks like I win." Auburn says, a slight laugh to her words.

"Looks like it. I'm sorry I doubted you." I say, taken back that she was faster then I was.

"You can make up for it by doing whatever I say, starting now. Until this time tomorrow, you're my little butler." She grins and I roll my eyes. "You're already having too much fun with this aren't you?" I ask but she doesn't answer as she starts to get out of the pool.

"Come on, let's get in the hot tub." She says as she starts making her way over.

I watch as she lowers herself into the hot tub, relief washing over her face.

"Well, come on." She says once she sees I haven't moved from the pool.

I do as she says, despite having to anyway. As I lower myself into the hot tub, she turns on the jets, making slight bubbles.

"This is way better. That pool water is just too cold." She laughs as she leans back against the side.

"Definitely. I prefer this over the pool any day." I say and Auburn is fast to agree.

We sit there for a little, talking about Mel and Taehyung and even a little bit about the Mark situation.

She tells me all about how Mark use to treat her and the things he would say to her. She finally told me the reason he didn't come with her this year is because of him basically calling her fat and just being a dick as usual.

By time she was done telling me, she looked sad again.

I scooted closer to her, trying to comfort her. "Don't take what he said to heart. You're an amazing person and not to mention insanely pretty. Also, you're definitely not fat so don't believe that for a second. He's just an asshole." I say, making sure Auburn knew what Mark had said wasn't true in the slightest.

Auburn stared at me for a second before she smiled slightly. "You think I'm pretty?" She seemed to be blushing a little which shocked me.

"I think you're beautiful. Very pretty." I confirm. I found myself staring into her eyes as she stared back into mine.

We're both silent for a moment before she speaks, what comes out of her mouth being the last thing I ever thought I'd hear in my life.

"Kiss me."
