BREAKING THE NEWS {25}

"You ready? I know they'll have lots of questions." I laugh as Auburn and I make our way towards her living room where I could already hear all of the guys being loud as hell.

"Yeah of course. I'm sure they'll be surprised." Auburn says as she heads down first onto the stairs.

When we make it into the living room, everyone turns towards us. They looked a little confused as to why we were coming down together. Well, besides Jimin and Tae.

"Hey you two! Where are you coming from?" Jin asks, his eyes shooting between the two of us.

"My room." Auburn says casually which makes them all much more interested.

"Oh yeah? You knew about that?" Namjoon asks as he turns to look at Tae who was unfazed.

"Yeah, I did." He says and Hoseok smirks. "So what were you two doing up there then?"

"It's already obvious." Yoongi snickers. "Oh definitely." Jimin then pipes in.

"Oh hush you perverts. That definitely wasn't happening so get your mind out of the gutter." I say as I walk towards the empty spot on the couch, Auburn trailing along behind me.

"Well it was obviously something because Aubs never hangs out with us like this." Jimin frowns. He was acting all innocent as if he really was oblivious to what was going on.

"Well, if you all must know, Auburn and I are dating." I finally say and Jin hops up, a huge grin on his face, "I knew it! I called it."

Auburn's brows furrowed. "How did you know?" I glanced over at her then at Jin.

"Oh please, it was so obvious. You were always going out of your way to buy Jungkook his favorite drinks and stuff. Not to mention I saw you sneaking a peak a few times."

I glance back over at Auburn, grinning as I see the blush on her cheeks, confirming what Jin was saying.

"Alright, don't embarrass her too much." I laugh as I grab Auburn's hand, rubbing my thumb over the back to sooth her.

The guys began to tease but we ignored it. I knew they wouldn't just let it be but I didn't mind the teasing.

If anything, it was cute seeing Auburn get flustered like this.

She was always cute but when her pale cheeks would flush red, she looked that much more adorable.

As we were all sitting around talking, Auburn spoke up, mostly directed at Tae.

"Mel is gonna head over." She says and Tae's eyes widen as he instantly starts to straighten out his shirt and his hair.

It was funny seeing him get all flustered like this knowing that Mel would be coming over.

I could tell he really liked her and was looking forward to getting to know her even more.

"Guys!" Tae said suddenly, gathering everyone attention. We all turned to look at him.

"When Mel gets here don't make her feel uncomfortable! You can do it to Jungkook and Auburn all you want but not Mel."

Auburn scoffed at that but didn't say anything and neither did I.

Of course the guys would make Tae feel uncomfortable anyway, but I doubted they'd do the same to Mel.

We all just liked messing with one another so there was no way the guys wouldn't do to tae what they were just doing to us.

I was looking forward to every moment of it.

After about ten minutes, Mel arrived. Right away, I could sense the awkward tension her and Tae were giving off as they sat beside each other but left a small gap.

"I can't believe you two are a thing. How exciting, two couples now huh? I definitely need a girlfriend." Namjoon sighs as he leans back against the couch.

"It's not that hard. Just go talk to girls." Yoongi shrugs in which Namjoon retorts, "Oh that's grand, coming from you!"

The two of them started bickering as the others turned their attention to Mel and Tae.

"Have you two kissed yet? Went on a date? Had sex?" Jimin whispered the last part as if someone would hear.

"Really Jimin, I told you not to make her uncomfortable!" Tae hisses and Mel seems to blush at his side.

Hell, even I was a little curious. Tae hadn't said anything about that last part so even I wasn't sure. Not that it was any of our business anyway.

"Let's just change the subject and all watch a movie or something. That way we don't make Mel uncomfortable and Tae doesn't spaz out." Jin says but doesn't allow anyone to object before he's already starting to turn a movie on.

No one fought him on it as we all settled in, getting comfortable to watch the movie.

Auburn leaned into me, her head resting on my shoulder.

I glanced over at Tae and Mel who seemed to have closed the gap but weren't making any moves to touch each other.

I laughed to myself at how shy Tae was in front of all of us when it came to Mel.

I'm sure when they're alone it's great. I hope it works out for them because I can tell she makes him happy.

He deserves to be happy. We all do. I hope the guys find someone soon too and that way we all have someone to make us happy. Hell, even if them being single made them happy then that worked too.

As long as everyone around me is happy, I'm happy.
