A year had passed since I officially started dating Auburn and in this past year, everything has been perfect.

We're happier then ever and it's an amazing feeling.

Auburn was now in her last year of high school and I'm officially graduated.

After Auburn's senior year ends we were talking about moving in together but that was still awhile away so we weren't thinking too much about it at the moment.

"Baby!" Auburn grinned as she ran to me, jumping into my arms. I had come to pick her up from school so we could head to our double date with Tae and Mel.

Speaking of them, they were also still together and things seemed to be going well. Very well.

"Hey love, how was class?" I ask as we get into my car, making our way to the place Tae told us to meet up at.

"Boring as always. Nothing special. How was work?" She asks, grinning over at me as she waited for my answer. I always loved how excited she was to hear about my day, no matter how boring It was.

"Same old same old. I heard I'll be getting a raise soon so that's good." I say and Auburn smiles as she reaches over and places her hand on my knee.

"That's great, you deserve it! I'm proud of you." I couldn't help but to smile at how happy she was for me, always. Auburn was super supportive of my work and I loved that most about her.

I had just gotten this new job recently and it was pretty good pay. This raise would be perfect and would definitely be good come the time the two of us move out.

"Thank you baby." I smile and she sends a smile back in my direction.

The rest of the ride there, we sing along to our favorite songs. This was pure happiness.

"Hi guys!" Tae smiled brightly as we finally arrived, taking our seats across from him and Mel who were attached at the hip.

"Have you guys been here long?" Auburn asks as she looks in Mel's direction who shakes her head no.

The two of them had already ordered appetizers and everything so I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they said no just so we wouldn't feel bad for taking too long.

"Well go ahead and order, I'm starving!" Tae says as he pushes a menu at me.

Knowing he was serious and that hungry Tae was scary, we ordered quickly.

Luckily the food came fast and Tae wasted no time in scarfing it down. It was funny seeing how much he loved the food but at the same time, relatable.

As we all ate, we made small talk about Auburn and Mel's senior projects in school and about Tae's job and mine.

Since the four of us hadn't done something like this where we all hung out in awhile, we had lots to catch up on.

The girls also had lots to talk about surprisingly even though they see each other and hang out pretty much everyday. I would never understand that. Girls, confusing as hell man.

"So, are you two moving in together after high school or no?" Auburn asks, looking from Mel to Tae, waiting for one of them to answer.

Mel seemed to get flustered at Auburn's question. Tae didn't seem bothered in the slightest though.

"Well?" I ask, now curious myself. Tae looked over at Mel then towards us.

"I mean, we haven't talked about it but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to it." He says as he glances back over at Mel who seemed to smile at his words. I guess she had been wanting that topic to be brought up for awhile now.

"See, I told you!" Auburn says as she leans across the table and smiles at Mel. Mel kicks her under the table and Auburn frowns.

"Wait, you guys already talked about this?" Tae asks confused and I look over at Auburn too, curiously.

"Of course we did! The second Jungkook and I talked about moving in together, Mel started wanting the same thing with you. I guess you were just too much of an idiot to notice." Auburn says and Tae flips his sister off for her comment.

"Is that true?" He then asks as he looks over at Mel who nods, her cheeks somewhat red.

"Well good, because we'll definitely move in together then if you want to! I just didn't know how you'd feel about that." Tae grins as he leans over and kisses Mel.

I smiled to myself as I looked over at Auburn who was smiling too, happy for her best friend and even for her brother.

It was cute seeing the two of them being so happy and in love. It's all you could ever want for your best friends. I was glad they both had that.

As I looked over at Auburn my heart felt full. I'm happy I have that.

Auburn looks over at me then before she smiles. "I love you." She whispers to me as she leans into my side.

"I love you." I whisper back as I kiss the top of her head. Having Auburn here with me and my best friend and his girlfriend, I felt happy.

Things were looking up for me and for them as well. I wasn't sure what the future had in store, but as long as I had Auburn by my side,

I was ready to take on the world.

Nothing was off limits.

Not anymore.
