"Do you wanna come up? For a cup of coffee maybe?" Maheen said as they stood in front of each other, not letting to leave each other just yet.
Maheen became a but fearless this night, this night called for both of them to be a bit fearless. Love prevailed and they decided to spend more time with each other.
As they were walking up, Adam pulled Maheen back a little, "What about your father? Is he going to be home?"
"No, he has a night shift today." Maheen said and they continued walking upstairs. Her apartment was on the second floor on the far corner. It was a small apartment, which Adam entered. His first thought was, of how neat it was in there. There was minimum furniture and gadgets, no overwhelming wallpapers or chandeliers, no expensive and unnecessary things, it was simple, it was beautiful. Just like Maheen.
Adam cautiously but proudly stepped inside. And in that moment he did not care what Maheen had, he was just glad that he had her. He saw Maheen go to the kitchen and switched on the light, the two room in the apartment were parallel to each other along the same wall. From where Adam was sitting he could see Maheen's room which was dark and beside him a little ahead was her father's room, of which the door was closed but the light seemed to be on.
"Maheen, is your father home?" Adam walked up to Maheen in the kitchen and whispered in Maheen's ears.
"No I told you, he is not coming back today." Maheen said, as she removed the cups from the cabinet, like they actually were going to have coffee.
"Umm.. the light is switched on I guess." Adam said and Maheen left the cups on the counter top and headed to her father's room.
She opened the door and Adam heard a loud scream, "ABBA!!!"
He rushed to the room and and saw Mr. Aziz was lying on the floor unconscious and Maheen sitting beside him, trying to wake him up. "I am going to call 911." Adam said to Maheen and immediately got them on the phone.
Within few minutes, the ambulance was in their house with the paramedics, doing everything they can to revive Maheen's father.
Maheen's tear ducts constantly overflowed as she took Adam's support. "Is he going to be okay?" Maheen asked as she saw her father gaining consciousness.
"For now, he is out of the woods, but we do need to go to the hospital." The paramedics, said to Maheen and Adam.
"Maheen, you can go with them, I will be right behind you." Adam said as he helped her get into the ambulance.

Everly, was pretty drunk and could not drive home, so Sam took her car and dropped her off. Everly's house was pretty quite so he, took her to her room and tried to put her to sleep. She kept mumbling how she loved Adam and how Maheen had taken everything from her. Sam felt bad for her, but he also felt happy for Adam, as Adam was happy like never before.
Sam left her on the bed and tip toed out the room and out the house.
Next day when Everly woke up, she had a sharp pain in her head. She knew she had too much to drink and she was pretty embarrassed as to what she had done, she remembered it in bits and pieces and she threw herself back in the bed. Thank goodness it was the weekend, she thought. She would get a chance to come to terms with what she had done, and gather up courage to face the school and more importantly Adam.

Everly took a deep breath as she stood at the gate of the school. She scanned the building from top to bottom. She was just not able to take a step inside the premises. She knew it had been almost a week, she had to get back to her classes. It was imperative.
