________________________I guess I never really noticed when I fell for him. Just that it happened.
Gradually, over time.Or maybe I've felt this for him since that day at Grandpa Vincent's farm.
I don't know.
I just know that I like him.
I really like him.And sometimes I think that....maybe he could like me too.

Kenzie's p.o.v
I was 12 and he was 13.
The girls had just got me to admit the fact that I liked him.And after denying it for ages, I finally admitted to my three best friends that it in fact was true.
I had fallen for Johnny."You have to tell him Kenz!" Ruby begged me. I blushed.
"I..I don't know." I hid my face in my hands and Lauren and Annie giggled."You know he feels the same." Ruby insisted.
"How do you know?" I peeked at her from between my fingers.
"You should've seen his face that day when we were playing Truth or Dare and you said you thought Hayden was cute."
My stomach was swarming with butterflies at the thought of telling Johnny how I felt.
The good kind, but also the bad, flying too fast and making my stomach churn with anxiety, kind of butterflies. How do you tell a boy you've known for so long that you care about him, more than a friend?"I think he likes you too Kenz." Lauren whispers, dead-serious.
I look up at her.
She nodded, "Yeah. The other day at the dinner table, Dad asked him if there was a girl and he blushed! Actually blushed! When have you ever seen Johnny blush?" She giggled.
Ruby and Annie shot me wide grins.
"And you know what he did after that?" Lauren gave me a sly smile.
"What?" I said under my breath.
"He excused himself and when mom asked where he's going he said he's going to your house!"
"Do you understand what this means!" Ruby shook my shoulders, overcome with enthusiasm.
"Jeez girls calm down." My face was red.
And we all started laughing and giggling, a feeling of exhilaration and excitement buzzing through me.
"Woah, what's all the excitement about girlies?" My mom and Mer peek through the doorway.
I blush harder and the girls continue giggle.
"Nothing. We're just joking around.""Okay, well come down for lunch. Mer's got us some Greek food from her favorite deli nearby."
"Okay Mommy Mel! We'll be right down." Ruby says.
My mom and Mer exchange smiles, shake their heads and shut the door behind them.
