Skylor's POV

"K-Kidnapped? B-by who?" I whisper.

"The sons of Garmadon?"

WHAT?

"Aren't they in prison?" I ask, which is a dumb question.

"Well they obviously broke out!" Nya snaps.

I look down at my feet.

"Sorry," She says, "I haven't been too good since he's been gone. I know it's not an excuse to yell at you."

"No, it's okay. I understand." I say. "Any luck on finding him?"

"No, and I have a feeling that it's too late." Jay mumbles from the shadows of the room.

His words make Nya burst into tears and Jay comes to sit next to her.

He wraps her into a hug and says, "I'm sorry, Nya. I-I shouldn't have said that."

"No. You're probably right." She says under sobs.

"We can't give up." I say. "We are going to find him. I'll help you guys."

I offer Nya and Jay a hand and they both hesitate, but take it.

I lead them to the screen that Pixal was already in the control room.

"Let's look at the cameras around the city." I say to the sad couple.

We found nothing.

We were looking until Pixal told us that it's almost 3 in the morning.

Jay and Nya decided to give up and go to sleep, but I'm going to continue looking.

Nothing.

I'm forcing my eyes to stay open.

But since it's so impossible to stay awake, I head to the kitchen to get a tea that gives me energy (kinda like coffee).

I continued to look, and looking and Zane comes in the room looking very concerned.

"Skylor, you look like you require some rest. I can take over." He says with a forced smile.

"No, it's okay. I got it." I respond.

He sighs and heads to the kitchen, slowly.

Three more long weeks have past by.

I haven't been sleeping, or eating, or well, doing anything for that matter except for checking the city cameras and looking for clues.

"Skylor, you really need to sleep or eat." Nya says quietly.

"No. I need to find Kai, even if it's the last thing I do." I say firmly.

"I know that you care about him a lot, and I do too, but you need to take care of yourself. Please." She says.

"I'm fine."

She sighs and walks over to Jay for a hug.

Ultra Violet's POV

"We have to find Chen's daughter." Killow tells me.

"You think I haven't realized that!" I snap.

"Yeah, well realizing it isn't finding her." He says.

I roll my eyes.

"We have checked her apartment, her restaurant and the island! Where could she be?" I shout.

"She could be at the ninja's place." Killow says.

"That's true. Let's go investigate." I say with a smile.

"DON'T YOU DARE!" The fire boy screamed from the pillar he was chained to by vengestone handcuffs.

"Oh, and what are you going to do about it, hair gel?" I say with a smirk.

"I'll burn you into crisps once I get out of here." He says.

I laughed extremely hard.

"You think you're going to get out of here? You've already been here for nearly 3 months, and none of your weak friends have found you yet." I say.

"If my friends are so weak, how did they defeat Garmadon and put you all behind bars?" He says with a smirk.

"Go tase him." I tell Killow.

He nods and grabs a taser and electrocutes him at least 20 times.

I'm surprised he's not dead.

"That should teach you to keep your mouth shut," I say to the fire ninja. "Now let's go to the monastery."

Skylor's POV

I walk over to Nya and Jay.

"I haven't really made any progress...." I say slowly.

"You deserve a break, Skylor." Jay says.

"I don't. Kai deserves to be back." I say, trying to hide my teary eyes.

"Kai would want you to be well rested and to eat well," Jay says.

I sigh and drop my eyes to my feet.

But soon, we hear a BOOM from the front door.

I use my smoke power to go check and I see the Sons of Garmadon.
